It's not for another 11 months :teeth: But I am planning now! And no we are not going to go to Disney, April is too crowed for me to be there.

Just looking for some ideas....

Do you like wine tasting? There is a great bed and breakfast in Vicotr, NY which is near the finger lakes. It is a nice getaway long weekend. That is where we are going for our 10th in June

I would love that, but DH doesn't drink at all. He doesn't like any kind of alcohol. That sucks for me b/c I don't drink because he doesn't drink, doesn't feel right. I only have a drink if we are family events when other people are drinking too. :teeth:

We had always planned to do a 7 night Disney cruise for our 10th anniversary. Ours in next May but unfortunately DCL is going to be in Europe at the time (they leave mid-May) so we are going to have to change our plans. We thought the idea of just being able to relax and be pampered a little while enjoying days at the beach sounded like a great anniversary to us! :)

we are doing a disney cruise... but doing it later in the year due to the time of year our anniversary will be.

We were going to do the same thing (actually, I'm surprising DH), but we'll settle for the 4 day for now. I'm hoping that by the time we get aboard, I can book the 7 day for the 11th anniversary! :teeth:

Now that WDW is an hour away, and St. Pete Beach is close by, staying at the honeymoon locales isn't as big a plan.

Getting back to the OP, I'd go up to Maine shore for a nice long weekend. B&B, lobstah rolls, romantic walks along the ocean...

We had our last son for our 10th anniversary. You have 11 months so that is an option, lol.

What kind of budget are planning? How about a cruise or a trip to Hawaii? Too extravagant? Can you plan a weekend away with just your dh? I've heard fantastic things about the Canadian side of Niagara Falls.

We still have three years to go, but I'm already planning. We'd like to go to Tahiti or Fiji, but I'm not sure what time of year is best to go there. I know Hawaii is out since our anniversary is in June. We've already been to Alaska and we can always take a cruise with the kids. Maybe we'll do a European Cruise.

We have 4 years to go but I'm already thinking of ours!!

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We got remarred by Elvis in Las Vegas! It was fun!!!

LOL!!!!

I almost couldn't remember what we did for ours - and it was only 3 years ago! How sad is that!!!! :teeth:

Fancy dinner and pearl earrings. I preferred the earrings to a trip someplace. :thumbsup2

For our 5th anniversary, we spent a week at Sandals Halcyon Beach in St. Lucia. I highly recommend any of the Sandals resorts. We've also been to 2 in Jamaica.

For our 10th anniversary, I surprised DW and planned a whole luxury weekend in NYC. I booked a suite at the Rhiga Royal hotel (which is a wonderful place if you ever get the chance), I got center orchestra seats to see "Chicago" on Broadway, and I made reservations at a fine Italian restaurant a few blocks from the theater. We had a very nice time and still talk about it frequently nearly 4 years later.

Cruises are always a great idea, too.

BTW, I see you are in Vermont. We're coming to visit for our summer vacation. Never been there. We're renting a chalet in Stowe and touring the northern end of the state primarily.

Oh yes, it was very entertaining and embarrassing! Here is a photo, he sang to us and everything. Here I am trying not to cry (I am a dork!):

Edited to add: It was in the "50's diner" hence the James Dean picture and the young Elvis...

DH and I were just talking about this the other day. We celebrate our 10th next July :cheer2: , but would like to make reservations so we know how much to put aside to pay for it. Any thoughts?

Stowe is only 25-30 miles from me :teeth: Very nice town! Have fun touring the northern state!

This is kind of what I want to do (renew or vows). Just don't know where.

I was thinking of Las Vegas! I've never been, neither has DH. And I would love to renew or vows, I think that would be nice. What is there to do in Las Vagas besides gamble? I would love to see the celine dion show!!
