What to do for a 1st birthday in Florida

I was looking for ideas what to do for Morgans 1st birthday, we will be on day 6 in Florida then and are staying in a villa.

Morgan isnt entiteled to any of the birthday celebration things at wdw because hes under 3

so we are lookin for other ideas

How about a hair cut at the barbers shop in MK ? Or a special character breakfast, maybe a special photo in one of the parks? We took DS for his first birthday and had a lovely photo done of us as a family at MGM/DHS in the shop near the Backlot Tour area. Each time since then we've had a breakfast at Chef Mickey's and got the photos you can really see how much he's grown over the years. You could probably get a special birthday badge at any of the Guest Services in the parks too CMs really notice them and he's bound to love the extra attention too.

We celebrated my sons first birthday with a character breakfast at the GF. We took along a blank birthday card and when the characters visited our table they all signed it for him. He got lots of extra attention and thoroughly enjoyed himself and a personalised souvenir.

We are booking an ADR at Crystal Palace for Harley's 3rd birthday, I have found it pretty hard to decide what to do for his special day too, but I like the idea of the blank card for the characters to sign too!

I took my daughter to Crystal Palace for her 1st birthday breakfast - They decorated the table and gave her a cake (they did offer us a free birthday cupcake but we brought a special one in with us that they then presented to her)
She got a birthday card signed by all the characters.

After that we headed off and got her 1st haircut at the MK barbers.(she got a free minnie ears hat and some pixie dust to make her hair look pretty)

We then just spent the rest of the day doing her fav rides.

I couldnt imagine a better way I could have spent her most memorable birthday!
