We're are planning a trip to Disney for the bounce back free dining in Aug/Sept 08. We will be staying at CSR for 4 days (possibly 7). We are planning on arriving in Orlando 3 days prior to the free dining, we were thinking about staying at CSR for the full 7 days and also going to Universal in the beginning of the trip (we will have a rental car) if we are going to Universal we only want to stay in CSR so we don't have to repack and move to another hotel. But we are also considering staying at the beach prior to Disney for the 3 days. Our boys are 14 and 16. What would you do? Linda :)

Check the myw tickets... the difference between a 4 day ticket and a 3 day ticket might not be as much as you think.

That's how they got us to go from a 4 day in the park, 6 night stay to a 7 day in the park, 9 night stay....

Plus, there are the waterparks, DtD, Disneyquest, etc. etc. etc.

Of course, My opinon is biasd. I only go to florida to go to DW, so I only go to DW while in florida! :thumbsup2

We just came back from Disney a few weeks ago and have taken 5 trips there and although we had a great time DH is getting tired of going to Disney and I am surprised he agreed to book it again for next year. But he did mention doing something other than just Disney this trip, maybe Universal and I know the boys would love to do that as well. When I mentioned going to Disney next year DS14 said "again" in his teenage voice. So it's time to add something new to the trip which is fine with me because I get to do something new and still go to my beloved DisneyWorld! I'm just trying to decide between the beach or Universal for 3 days. The boys have gotten used to touring the parks and we noticed this year that they don't want as much down time at the pool as they used to. So I'm not sure how much they would enjoy 3 days at the beach even though DH and I would love it. I do'nt want to ask them because I want to surprise them maybe put Universal tickets in with their Christmas gifts with a Universal t-shirt or just wait till the trip gets closer. Another option is taking a ride the beach for the day and typhoon lagoon another day. :confused3 Linda

Considering your boys' ages, I say go to Universal. They are the perfect age for it & there is lots for them to do. They have excellent deals on multi-day tickets or, if you stay onsite at Universal, you can get free admission included with your hotel package.

I would really think about staying on- site at Universal. We did this for the first time in Aug. and it was well worth it. Your boys will love the rides at the parks and because you stay on-site you get to go to the front of the line on almost all rides. Plus they are offering some great deals now. Have fun.

Hi, I am new to the board. I've been seeing "bounce back" a lot recently. What does that mean? Thanks, Stephanie

considering the ages of your DSs, on-site at Universal would be perfect. The 7 day tickets are running around $89 and they are also running a free ticket with your room promotion.

The front of the line access you get when you stay on-site is so cool and the kids love it. You pretty much just walk on all the rides without waiting in line.

We have always talked about doing a beach trip, but usually a day at the beach is enough for my kids. We usually do a Cocoa Beach/Ron Jon visit every trip, but thats enough.

The bounce back offer was given to people who stayed at the disney resorts during the recent free dining offer to book again for next years free dining offer. I believe the offer is done for now and you could only get it if you were staying at the disney resorts. :) Linda
