Our DD would love to do the Pirate Cruise this Fall. We are hoping to get her booked on the new Albatross Cruise that leaves from YC/BC marina. The cruise is around two hours long.

Our question is- can we (DH and I) get the boat to MGM, do Rock'n Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror, and take the boat back to YC/BC marina in two hours? We'd get a FP for one, ride the other, and then do the FP one. We'd be attempting this between 9:30 and 11:30 AM.

What do you think? We will be trying this on November 2- it should be a pretty slow time at the parks- Jersey week is not til the 2nd week of Nov, and most of the Halloween crowds will be gone. Thanks for your advice!

I think this could be done. However, I would never risk the chance of my daughter arriving back from her pirate adventure and me not being there. You never know what game fate may play with you on any particular day. What if RRC gets stuck and you are on it for an hour? If a child were not involved I would say go for it, but not in this case. That's MHO. :flower:

Gosh!! I've been so busy planning things, I didn't even think about this! I feel like I deserve the "Bad Mom" award. Well, I guess we will be staying around YC/BC while she's cruising... what would you suggest doing while she's finding buried treasure?

Thanks for the help!

Go snack yourselves up really good.... You should be able to try lots of yummy treats in 2 hours :)

Oh, don't feel bad. We all try to use every available minute. Maybe you and DH should relax by the pool if the weather is good, or as suggested before, snack away. Have fun!! I'm sure DD will come back and have lots to tell you. :earsgirl:

World Showcase won't be open so you won't be able to do the snacking thing at World Showcase. When our kids did the one at GF, we thought of hoping the boat over to MK, but decieded against it because we were just afraid we wouldn't have enough time. Sometimes boats don't arrive for 20 minutes and you never know about the monorail times either. If your at the Y&B Club you can easily walk over to Epcot, it only takes 5 minutes. You could just leisurely stroll around Epcot Future World and take it all in without the kids. The other thing you could do is have brunch at Yacht Club Galley or Spoodles or several other places in the area.

I woludn't give up on MGM unless you really want to. It's very, very unlikely anything would prevent you returning in time. In the worst case scenario, I presume your daughter would not be released to roam Disney World alone?

I mean, you could refuse to be parted from her at all, in case you got locked in an elevator, or the lavatory, and could not pick her up...but you don't.

If you had paid for her to be in one of the children's clubs, or hired a babysitter, you wouldn't refuse to get on a disney bus in case it broke down?

Each to their own, of course. But no "bad mom award" here.

True about WS, but the shops on the BW are open at that time aren't they?

Get breakfast at Spoodles on the boardwalk. Their breakfast is great and should kill most of that 2 hours. Try the Bloody Mary its great and almost a meal in itself. You could also go to the bakery for some food their morning pastries and such are excellent.

Hmm. I used to go to the GF spa when DS did the pirate cruise over at there. Is there a spa facility at the YC?
