What to do, different check in dates, same villa? DDP...

OK gang...I have a question for anyone that may have an answer.

My family and I are going to SSR in mid June. We are arriving on Saturday morning. We are doing the DDP, there are 4 of us.

Either on Sunday or Monday, my older son is coming from Camp Lejune (go USMC..!) with my 6 month old granddaughter to spend about 4 days with us until we check out. We would like to put him on the DDP also but he is arriving about 2 or 3 days after us (staying with us in our 2 bedroom)

How do I add him to the plan being as his arrival is a different day? Will they let me do this? He is going to have to have a villa key.

If you are on the dining plan all people must be on it for the entire stay even if they check in on different days. You may want to consider doing two non linked reservations although you will probably have to change rooms. You could pay for the whole time for him and use the extra credits as you see fit for a signature meal or depending on your arrival and departure schedules there might be just enough credits for an extra day TS since it is based on number of nights and it good from check in to midnight of check out day.

Castleri has the best idea - buy for him for the entire stay and use the extra credits for a signature meal. I am sure it will be a celebration to see him and the little one, so celebrate with an awesome signature meal!

Yep, you'll have to pay for him for the entire time, but I agree that the extra dining cedits will be great for a signature. You'll likely have a lot of extra CS and snacks left, but it still might be worth it cost wise.
