what to do between lunch and parade

We have a Festival of Fantasy dining package booked at 11:45 at Tony's for Tues, Oct 17. I did have some plans for rides and things between lunch and the parade when it was at 3, and then the parade got moved and I'm trying to rework my plans. With the parade now at 2 PM are we going to even have time to do anything between?

You can walk over to either Frontierland or Adventureland and see what the standby times are for rides, some of them are pretty short so you could get in a ride or two. You could also just hang around Main Street and shop and take in all the details. Ride the train if it's running, it's fun and takes you around the back of the park and you see things you don't see otherwise.

I'd have a fastpass booked... Do your first two 10-11 11-12 for before your reservation and then have your last one 1-2

Personally, I would just stay put in that area since I think that the dining package location is right by Tony's. If you have some time, maybe go in the shops and do some shopping. I wouldn't do more walking than necessary. If any you have plenty of time, maybe get a picture with talking Mickey or Tinker Bell right by there?

You're going to end up with close to an hour of time on your hands which is plenty of time to do an attraction or two (depending on crowd level). I agree with the suggestion to have your 3rd FP booked for 1:00 - 2:00PM then you know for sure you'll get at least that one ride in. If you still have time after that, you can try to sneak in another less popular ride that has little to no line or do a little Main St. shopping.

If you have any interest in shopping, meeting Mickey and/or Tinkerbell or riding the train around the park, I would do that then to keep the walking down to a minimum. If not, I would do something fairly close by in Tomorrowland or Adventureland. You will really only have an hour to kill, so keep in mind about 20 minutes walking back and forth and 40 minutes for the ride. As PP suggested, if you have FP+ scheduled for 1 - 2 pm, you could really do any ride. It really depends on how much walking you want to do.

Just to add some more variability to the mix... You'll really have to play it by ear because it's really all going to depend on how busy Tony's is and how long you are waiting to be seated. Hopefully with an 11:45 ADR won't be too bad of a wait and if so, you should easily be done by 1:00, but throw in an unexpected 30 minute wait and/or some slow service and suddenly your free hour becomes more like a free 20 - 30 minutes. I would keep that in mind when booking your fastpasses and make that 3rd one at 1:00pm a ride that you will more than likely be able to reschedule, if need be, i.e. don't make that one something like 7DMT.

Also, keep in mind the parade starts at 2 in frontier land. That gives you a bit more time

My lunch is at 1225. My plan is to use fp for Mickey at 2-3. If I go at 155. I'll be out by 215 before parade arrives. If I have time to fill before lunch or before Mickey. I'll take photos around town square. The park will be ready for mnsshp which are good photo spots

Without knowing the change in schedule of other Main Street options it's hard to really plan for it, but currently Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire has a 2pm show with FOF at 3. It seems likely they would keep the 1PM show with FOF at 2. It's a 22 minute show at the castle, and this way you can stay on Main Street and not have to worry about being stuck on a ride
