I think we will stay at WL next, and are looking for some non-park things to do to break up our trip. What is there to do at Fort Wilderness? How do you get there from WL? Can you walk--or is it "bus distance" from the WL?

Also, how much does it cost to rent the little boats at WL?

Hi. Fort Wilderness is a great place! You can walk or take the boat from WL. They have a petting zoo, poney rides, trail rides, movies at night, hay ride, and its the home of the Hoop Dee Do Review. I think the little boats are $30 or so for a half hour. You can also rent bikes at FW and did I mention fish? Why not ask you questions on the Camping thread. Those people KNOW FW. We've only stayed there once in the cabins. Boat service to MK was great, but bus service was only okay. It is a nice place to spend some time!

Have fun.
