Do you pack a lunch from the ship or eat lunch in Nassau?
Where do you eat lunch in Nassau?

It's located just up the way from the docks. Big 10 is one of the best local dives. Everytime I have gone there it's just locals and maybe a few stragglers. I have found that if you want *authentic* island food ask your taxi driver where to eat. Tell them what you want and they will get you there.
If you're like me you want to taste the local flavor and this is a great way of doing it. I had the *best* Conch Fritters in my life down at Fishfry.
Good luck.

And to make this on-topic, if you want to take lunch with you, should you order it the night before from room-service? Also does room-service cost extra for the food or just the tip? And do you tip when they deliver or at the end???
