We are only two weeks away from our first Disney trip!! My sister is going with us and this will be her fourth trip. She has almost everything figured out but she has never went with more then one child or a child under 7. We are taking all four of my kids (11,9,8,2) We do not want to have a lot to carry around all day but Im worried we will be in the park and be missing something important. We will have a small stroller for our two yr old and a couple backpacks. The two yr old is potty trained. What are somethings we will need to have on hand! TIA!!

Defiantly take an extra set of clothing for the two year old. We placed an extra set in a ziplock bag and that way we had a bag to hold the dirty clothes if we needed to change him. And boy did we need to change him after we gave him a Mickey bar.

Other than that we had wipes, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, rain ponchos, portable chargers, bottled water and a few granola bars.

Hope you have a fantastic trip!

Thank you so much! The chargers are a great idea! Never thought of that.

Agree on the extra outfit for the 2YO. Might even want to plan on a couple of bottom changes and one top as the excitement can make holding it past time very easy to do.

I carry some snacks (apples, cheerios, etc.), ponchos/umbrella, sunscreen, bug spray, wipes/sanitizer, mophie, water bottles (you can get free cups of iced water at CS to fill those up and we share), meds (Tylenol, ibuprofen, tummy stuff), bandaids and polysporin, tissues, gum (if you want it -- not sold in parks), floss/toothpicks, wallet with ID, money, CC if needed, phone, autograph stuff/pressed penny stuff, all in Ziploc bags to make finding it easy and protect it.

11, 9 and 8 should be able to carry all their own stuff. Ask them what they plan to carry. Plus, the more you carry, the slower it is getting through bag check. Disney now has bug spray, so scratch that off the list. First Aid has bandaids, etc, so scratch those off the list. Floss? In the parks? Wait until you get back to your room.

We cant ask them because they have no idea we are going!!! Dont they charge for the bug spray, bandaids ect.....?

You can ask them when you get there. Surely they will realize you are at WDW when you head to the park.

If you need a band aid or a Tylenol, you just head to the first aid area and they take care of you at the parks. If you need it at your room, bring it from home and leave it there. Bug spray is new with the Zika virus. Disney is providing it.

If you want DEET-free spray, you'll have to bring your own. They sell DEET-free bug repellent bracelets on Amazon, though. You can slip a few bandaids into a pocket or lanyard pouch, too. Our lanyard pouches include bandaids, shout wipes, and bubbles.

Bubbles aren't really necessary and lots of people don't like them. Especially in tight quarters.

Snacks (lots of those!), baby wipes for messy hands (not just kids either!), change of clothes for the little one, external battery chargers, sunscreen, and a handful of new things to entertain during waits - glow sticks, light up rings, stickers and a small notebook to put them in.

@Deb & Bill - obviously bubbles are not needed for most people. However, I've got a 14 month old who has been known to get into shrieking mode, and I need a quick way to shut that down in lines - bubbles are better than her shrieks. (Normally, we take her out of the building or whatever, which doesn't stop the shrieking, but it does give other people some respite. That's frequently impossible while traveling.) It was, however, an example of a small item that can be put in a lanyard pouch, in case the kids want to carry one instead of backpacks.

The only thing I'm adding to my diaper bag that I don't usually bring is ponchos and bug repellant. My mom is carrying the lanyard, because that's how she feels secure carrying cards in the parks.
