now that garden grill (always a family fave/tradition) has reverted back to their old menu*, i need to cancel another epcot dinner in order to make room for this one... what shall it be... le cellier (NO!), biergarten, nine dragons, or teppanyaki?

any suggestions?

*Here's what the menu has to offer:

Appetizer: Speciality cluster bread w/ orange blossom butter
Dinner includes family style tossed ceasar salad w/ asaigo cheese and sour dough croutons

Family style entrees:
Brown sugar rubbed smoked pork loin w/ granny smith apple /raison chutney
Southern fried catfish
Grilled, marinated flank steak w/ mushroom cabernet au jus
Fried onion straws
Potato AuGratin casserole
Fresh cut Green Beans
Baby Green Vegetables

Dessert Medley:
Double Chocolate Bundt Cake with shaved chocolate
Lemon Tart with Strawberry coulis and orange zest.

Ok, I think Nine Dragons. I have heard alot of bad reviews. I personally LOVE Teppenyaki, Biergarten and Le Cellier... Let us know what you decide..

Either of the Asian restaurants. :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

9 dragons is dh/ds's FAVE wdw restaurant! (yeah, they're strange! LOL!) we had a great dining experience there on night back in '01 and he's been desperate to re-create it ever since! LOL! (it was our last night... it was dinnertime and we were planning on counter service in the American Pavillion at Epcot... the skies opened up and rain came down like we've never seen before so we ran for cover in the first doorway we could find [the stroller was nearly full of water in less than 2 minutes] and that doorway happened to be Nine Dragons... we ran in seeking refuge and decided we'd have dinner to wait out the storm... it was excellent! outstanding! the kids LOVED it, esp the red bean ice cream! it started ds' love affair w/chinese food!) so while i could care less whether or not we go there, dh wants to... we somehow "missed" it on our last trip (we lost a few days to hurricanes and that screwed up our plans) ;)

now, teppanyaki, on the other hand... i've been hankering for that type of meal for AGES... we don't have a hibachi type restaurant near us at home, so it's our only opportunity...

and that leaves biergarten to omit?

hmmmm... i wonder if perhaps one night we should divide and conquer and the boys go for chinese and the girls go for japanese... that could work... wonder if i could talk dh into it?

I personally love Biergarten and would drop either Nine Dragons or Teppanyaki first. But you have to decide based on your family's taste, not mine. ;)

I liked your idea of maybe splitting up and doing an Asian night. That way you'd get to keep everyone's favorites and not really drop anything from the list.

we liked Teppanaki...never been to 9 dragons...and we cant wait for le cellier!

so my vote would be for biergarten...
