Adult trip coming up next month and I'm debating how much I want to carry each day.

Definite:
KTTW card (not getting MB)
Phone (will double as camera)
Hat
ETA: Disposable Poncho

Possible:
DL (will I be carded if I get alcohol? I'm in my 50s, but don't know what the policy is)
Portable Charger for phone (about the size of my phone)
Extra CC (although I'll have charging privileges to the room)
Extra socks (in case what I'm wearing get wet)
GoPro camera (mount/strap?)
Water bottle (either plastic disposable or aluminum reusable)
ETA: Cooling towel

I'm not planning on bringing a bag, so everything will have to fit in my pockets.

Any other "necessities" I'm missing? Any other suggestions?

Some kind of rain gear is essential even this early into the summer season imo. I’ve been caught in more than one torrential downpour in June and was glad I had my rain jacket.

Ugh I could not imagine going bagless and having to put everything in pockets (well women's clothes barely have pockets so its not even a thing lol) but in the heat I would not want a bunch of stuff in my pockets weighing on me all day.

This is what I bring...
-phone
-small portable charger
-small wallet with ID, CC, Insurance card, cash
-comb
-little pill container with some Advil
-chapstick
-body spray
-a couple disposable ponchos

I'm either wearing my hat or I clip it on my belt loop.

I used to bring a water bottle but these days I bring a water bottle clip and then just get free ice water or if I end up buying a bottle of water I have the clip in case I don't want to drink it all at once.

I would not bring extra socks.
If your shoes are wet then the new socks will just get wet anyways.
Plus are you gonna shove the wet socks back in your pocket?

I wouldn't bring a go por unless you're really into taking videos of rides...

I wouldn't bring a cooling towel because they end up making your sunscreen wear off.
I just go inside if I'm too hot.

-DL because some places may card everyone, no matter how obvious it is they're over 21.
-Health insurance card.
-Some cash because cc system might be down or there are still some things that only take cash (some pressed penny and medallion machines come to mind.)
-Sunscreen.
-Portable charger unless you utilize Fuel Rods.
-Small plastic bag to protect phone and wallet in case of rain or wet rides.

I don't want to carry a bag because then it's loading me down all day. 🤣 I used to be the pack mule when the kids were little and the bag got heavy by the end of the day.

I have a small wristlet purse - phone, credit card and license, lip gloss, mirror, reading glass 😂 and I wear my magic band.

Husband carries a small waterproof backpack w/his phone, extra charger, wallet, rain ponchos if chance of rain and my sunglass case! Plus he attaches hand sanitizer to his strap. And water bottle fits in side of backpack.

That's it!

a multi-card holder for ID, insurance cards, credit card, and gift card; disposable poncho(s) (number depends on the weather forecast but it's Orlando so I always pack at least one - I despise umbrellas in a crowd and I don't get the use it for the sun as it makes me hotter since it limits the air flow around my head); Owala refillable water bottle; sunscreen, charger; ziplock bags for charger and phone in case of rain or the rare event I go on a water ride); hand sanitizer; advil/aleve.

I think this trip I'm adding in a neck fan - I'm going to try it at school for a few days to see if I like it or not.

ymmv but it really depends on when you're traveling with neck fans. the breeze is nice in the spring and fall but just makes it worse in the summer. some may want the breeze, even though it's just more hot muggy air in August. i think cooling towels and lots of water are much better in the heat of summer.

You could wear a small backpack or rent a locker for the things you bring and whatever you purchase at the park.
Renting a locker defeats the purpose IMO. That's a fixed location at the front of the park I'd have to go back/forth to whenever I want to put something in it/take something out. Not for me.

At this point, I don't plan on purchasing anything. Or, I'll do it at the end of the day when I'm heading out anyway.

I use a fanny pack. It gives a little more space for items and doesn't feel like I'm weighed down and frees up my hands. Also, unlike a backpack, I don't have to keep taking it off when I go on rides. It's the perfect compromise
