What to bring for kids on the airplane

Our kids are each taking a portable CD player and their favorite CD's. Between that and their pillows, plus a few drawing and coloring supplies, they should be pretty content for the entire trip. DD will also probably take a book to read with her. ::MinnieMo

Wow thanks for all the ideas. I never thought about earplanes. Actually I didn't even know what they are until now. My last trip to Las Vegas we had some Airplane issues and ended up on 3 different airplanes by the time we got to las Vegas and byt he last flight I couldn't hear a darn thing and my ears hurt big time. I'm going to invest in earplanes for myself and my son.

Thanks!!!!

Be warned that not all young children will tolerate earplanes. DS will NOT allow anything to be placed in his ears, no matter how helpful it is purported to be.

Be sure to carry a sport bottle of water as a backup, in case jr. doesn't like them. Keeping water easily to hand is a good idea, anyway, planes are dehydrating.
