Dh and I are bringing dd, 2 yo, to WDW in a few months. What should we bring for her?
We are planning on bringing a stoller, a sling (actually 2) and she will have her car seat for the plane.

What else?

thank you!

I would suggest making sure you bring a few of her favorite toys from home, like a favorite snuggly toy, book..something she really likes to keep her busy if you guys end up having to wait in long lines; dinner, things of that nature. When we brought my DD's when they were younger, I made sure to bring their favorite blankets and such for napping and for sleeping overnight so they would feel "at home" and wouldn't struggle with sleeping. Little snacks are always a good idea as well as juice, water etc and definitely sunscreen and a little hat for her :goodvibes A change of clothes is usually a good idea in the parks too!

Have a magical vacation! :wizard:

We are taking a 2 yo in a couple of months, and I was wondering why you are bringing a sling. (Maybe I need one!)

The other things that I would suggest are a harness, just in case, and a small personal bag to wear on your person so you can leave the diaper bag on the stroller when you go into attractions. And keep your valuables in your personal bag (tickets, cell phone, camera, etc.). A fanny pack would work, but I'm not a fan of those. A Baggallini Messenger bag or an Overland Equipment Placer are a couple of examples of personal bags.

A sippy cup and snacks she's used to from home. DS was two his first trip and carrying around his "silky" (small security blanket) helped him to not be scared on rides, around characters, etc. It was a pain to keep track of, but well worth carrying around. If you're going when it's hot, a complete change of clothes including shoes for the parks if she gets wet from the fountains.

I'm going in 2 weeks with a 20 month old and bringing two carriers - a Moby and a Mei Tai. But he's pretty light so I don't mind carrying him.

We are bringing his two favorite sippys, his blankies, his binkies, and a couple favorite toys and books. And also several new books and toys for the airplane. We're getting a crib from the hotel but bringing a larger blanket from home. (His blankies are not big enough to cover him.)

Thank you all for the ideas so far!

As far as the sling, we will be bringing an Ergo (backpack carrier...it is awesome) and a Maya sling. She likes to be held when she is tired at times and this helps with her weight. The Maya goes up to 35 pounds and I think the Ergo is 42 pounds or so.

She co-sleeps with us, so we won't be needing a crib.
