What to 2 hrs. from Pittsburgh

Looking for a day trip for Labor Day weekend. We live in the Pittsburgh area, and am looking for a fun day trip. Any suggestions?

How about Lake Erie, Volant, Seven Springs,Kittaning has craft stores, Deep Creek Maryland...the list can go on and on, we have alot to do that is close by.

Splash Lagoon in Erie, we went last year and it was a blast.

We also went to Erie this year for the 4th and had a nice time. The peninsula is very nice to ride bikes, walk, picnic, relax on the beach, watch boats. Usually Waldemeer has fireworks for holiday weekends and you can see them from the beaches.
