It really depends on if the reception immediately follows or if the reception is delayed to dinner time. On average I would say you need to allow at least 3-4 hours minimum.
Thanks. She did say that the reception was immediately following, but of course it was 1/2 hour away from the church, and Im sure they had to do pictures and all. I know my wedding, start to finish took over 7 hours, but it was a 5:30 wedding, so we had no rush to get out of the hall, and my father had connections so they let us stay as late as we wanted.
I have to admit, the kids arent being as bad as I had expected. I just know when my kids get with them there is constant fighting, competition, and whining. At least it hasnt been constant today, like usual.
Gosh, it really depends. I've been to an afternoon wedding that was from 2-4. The whole thing. Then another that was 11-4. Mine was from 4-12. Did the parents give you any idea when they'd be back?
2-4? My goodness, talk about a quickie.
She did say she doesnt anticipate being too late, but I know "late" can mean different things to different people(and it means fairly early to me, LOL).
