What time would you make a PS for Lilo and Stitch if.....

you were also trying to make Magic Morning opening? We will be making a PS for Lilo and Stitch breakfast for my ds 8th birthday on October 6th. That day is his birthday and our first day in the parks so we would like to make use of the Magic Morning they have on that day as well.....Not sure how much time we need for a birthday breakfast for him.

It looks like park opening should be 10:00 so MM should be 9:00. With walking time and getting in line for MM, I would make ressies no later than 7:30. That gives you 1 hour at Lilo, 15 minutes to walk over and 15 minutes to wait in line

I don't think it will work. I think the earliest PS will be 7, and MM would start by 8 at the latest (does DL ever open at 10, making MM 9?).

Instead, I would start with MM, get a bunch of stuff done and seen and enjoyed, then go back for a later breakfast.

You have 90 minutes to eat and meet characters. Not sure how much of that you need at Lilo. But then you have a walk to the park and I'd be there 30 minutes prior to MM. If the parks open at 10 (9 for MM) then I'd do no later than 7. I'd ask the CM at Disney dining about park hours that day. One person was told by DD that they thought it opened at 9 am that week.

Thanks for your replies.....maybe I need to re think my plan, perhaps I need to decide what I want to do for my ds's birthday more.....Magic Morning or Lilo and Stitch breakfast. We could always do the Magic Morning on Thursday instead, however that is the night we plan to do ToT party...

I will have to recheck park hours for that week once they are posted, however if October is similar to September the park is open from 10:00am to 8:00 pm, making Magic Morning at 9:00am.

I would do it this way as well. As a matter of fact, that is how we usually do it. We are planning on taking my nephew this friday. We will get there at rope drop, do as much as we can, then head over and have a later breakfast at 10:30.

Sometimes Disney dining can tell you park hours when you make your ressies even if they aren't posted online yet. It's worth a try.

I called Disney Dining yesterday and was able to get some idea on openings, she couldn't tell me park closing. Oct. 12 you can make a PS at Plaza Inn at 8:10. so I'm guessing that DL will be open at 8 AM. It is Columbus Day Monday so I guess it will be busy! If you learn anything more, I would love to hear it. We will be there the same days as you and I am also frustrated the hours aren't posted yet.

OP my suggestion would be what Molly said, do the MM and get a lot of stuff done. Make a PS for Plaza Inn around 10 and have a late breakfast.

FYI, Plaza Inn does offer PS before the park opens so saying the first seating for M&F's is 8:10 doesn't mean the park opens that early.

oh, I called this am and she said that oct 12th is fall hours and opens 10am. I made lilo resis at 7:30 am.. if the schedule comes out and it is earlier I will move the reservations for sure...
she told me the park closes at 8pm those days... I remember last year they were open till 9 or 10 at least.. guess we will have to wait and see!

This is kind of odd because I have a PS for Carnation Cafe at 9:10. I could have made a PS at Plaza Inn for 8:10. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Plaza Inn IS a character breakfast, it's Minnie & Friends. Served buffeteria style, so you can get eggs made to order, waffles or pancakes hot off the grill but it's like a buffet where you go thru a line. They have pastries and plenty of drink choices too, we drank so much OJ that morning. LOL There was also cereal for the girls, which made them happy. This is our favorite character breakfast, we saw so many characters here!!

there is always a ton of characters at this buffet, but I find it takes forever to eat there... the line for the buffet takes long and characters are very short with the kids... maybe we always eat there at the wrong time.

We've never experienced delays eating here, we make our PS for 10:30 and have arrived at 10:15 and gotten in right away. We are done eating by 11 and back in the park not long after.
