What Time Will the SW Fares be Released on the 14th?

This is exactly what happened to us. Booked a few months later at much better pricing. I'm sure it's not the same for everyone.

Yep, be logged into your account at 6am est and just keep refreshing your screen. I think it was around 6:12 am when I was able to book our early October flights a few months ago. I'll be right there waiting with ya on Thursday morning because I need flights for late December also.

Which screen are you refreshing that you are able to tell that the rates are out?

I always book our flights as soon as the schedule hits their website because there's only 1 non-stop flight out of Louisville to MCO at the fly anywhere fare. If the fare drops, you can always change without penalty so no cons to booking early.

am I reading that correctly? If in 2 months... the fare for the same exact flight is cheaper than what I buy it at tomorrow, I can call and pay the cheaper fare??

I stayed logged in and just keep reloading the SW homepage every minute until the updated calendar showed up. It was as stressful as booking 6am ADR's or FP's at midnight or 1am :crazy2: No reason to wait and book since you can get a price adjustment at no charge if the fare drops but with Nov and Dec being big holiday months, I don't see that happening. I got my October flights at a great prices at 6am when the SW schedule opened and by lunch the price had gone up considerably and then the cheaper WGA fare for both flights sold out.
The non-stop flight I snagged at $123 is still available but it's well over $400 one way now :scared1:

I hope everyone gets a mass sprinkling of pixie dust for tomorrow morning and logs-on to SW to find cheap fares with decent arrival and departure times. Post back here once you've booked, it will be interesting to see what sort of fares everyone is snagging, especially for the weeks around the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

Yes, but there's no need to call, you can make the changes and get the SW credit all online. The price difference will be applied to your account in the form of a SW Luv voucher. Here's the guidelines from the SW site.
  1. Southwest LUV Vouchers are valid as a form of payment toward future air fare only on Southwest Airlines throughsouthwest.com, toll-free Reservations 1-800-I-FLY-SWA (1-800-435-9792), or at any Southwest Airlines Ticket Counter.
  2. Southwest LUV Vouchers must be redeemed and all travel completed by the expiration date indicated. If applied in conjunction with any other accepted form(s) of payment, the earliest expiration date of all payments applies. Validity of Southwest LUV Vouchers will not be extended and any unused value will be forfeited upon expiration.
  3. Southwest LUV Vouchers are not redeemable as payment toward Government-imposed segment fees, Passenger Facility Charges, or September 11th Security Fees or as payment toward miscellaneous charges, Southwest Airlines Vacations packages, or travel either wholly or in part on other air carriers.
  4. Southwest LUV Vouchers and travel issued in exchange for Southwest LUV Vouchers have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or other monetary consideration. Southwest LUV Vouchers will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed.
  5. To redeem a Southwest LUV Voucher, purchaser must have a Southwest LUV Voucher number and associated security code. If a balance remains after redemption, please retain this Southwest LUV Voucher number and security code for future use.
  6. Southwest LUV Vouchers are VOID if sold, altered, purchased, brokered, and/or bartered.

I always book my arrival and departure flights as one way so it's easier to track any decrease in price plus I always use SW gift cards that I've bought at discount and there's a limit of how many forms of payments/cards you can use total per flight booked.

We booked our Xmas flights on Southwest in October last year. I paid a $203 on DEC 21and $103 on Dec 29th. I wasn't complaining. But will be checking tomorrow.

Okay.... the SW site now says this...
On June 30, 2015 we will open our schedule for sale through March 8, 2016. (Date is subject to change; please check back frequently.)

You can use the form below to search and view timetables for flights through Oct 30, 2015.

Did they just change the date on us or will the flights open soon???

I saw this too... hoping it just means they are getting ready to release them.

No, I think it means that will be the NEXT set of dates. Anybody's fares up yet for Nov/Dec?

And.... done! Save about $500 from DEN and that includes Early Bird Check In. Whooo Hooo!!! (And this is over thanksgiving)

Very disappointed - hoped to fly MHT to MCO on 11/29 and return 12/4 or 12/5 - NO wanna get away fares on 11/29 - I was on right when they opened. I'm very temped to cuss right about now !:furious:

And done! $834 for three of us round trip philly/mco. $129 going down/ $150 coming back No early bird check-in. I'm okay with that. The only thing that bugged was the fact they changed the flight times from October. I had in my head the times I wanted and had to do a double take at the screen! LOL! I am flying out earlier than I had hoped on both days.
But, I'll just be grateful I got a decent price.

I got non-stop flights for 5 people for $1150 ($115 each way)! I did add early bird, so $1275 total. I'm super happy. :)

Booked our return flights for 10/31. Was slightly more ($167) than our flight to Orlando (150). But they are both direct flights out of Kansas City and we used points for our return flight back.

Also, booked early bird check in coming back. I can't remember but I believe I read to do that on these boards. I guess that means we won't have to deal with check in as we will probably be in the parks somewhere 24 hours before.

I've got our flights sitting there ready to check-out but, as usual, there's only one non-stop flight at the cheapest WGA fare (with a middle of the day departure) :rolleyes2 and it would cost almost $1,000 for 3 of us . Not sure I can justify that for only 4 days :sad2:, especially since we're already going in Oct and also next March.

That was fast! Before I could complete my transaction the Wanna Get Away got away! Got our second choice for the same $$ but a little earlier that I would have liked. You snooze, you lose.
