When the Fantasy returns to Port Canaveral from its voyage (October Western Caribbean cruise) what time would I need to be at the port area to watch it come in? I know its early. Where would be the best place to watch from?

She typically arrives before dawn (dark) 5-6ish.

Numerous times I'd be up to get ready for a run LEAVING at 5am and she'd already be back at the port. I'd err on the 4:30/4:45 side if you want to see her come in.

You could probably watch her come in from Fishlips parking lot. Fishlips opens at 11 AM but their parking lot is pretty accessible. Or the public beach area.

Jetty Park does't open until 7 AM so although that would be a sensational watch point, you would not be able to access it.

I would expect to be there by 4:30 AM to make sure you don't miss her.

The state park does have camping....

Milliken's Reef is a restaurant in Port Canaveral (a few down from Fish Lips). There is an empty lot on the water next to it that is accessible.

Milliken's Reef has the green roof. The empty lot is to the right of the restaurant.
You can see the Disney terminal at the top of the photo.

go to the west end of 'restaurant row' and park at Millikan's or the open lot across from the Orlando Princess fishing boat office. You'll find a short section of sea wall and some benches at the water's edge and you are across from the container cranes .... this is the west turning basin where the DCL ships typically turn around b4 backing to the parking place. 99% of the time they park bow facing east .... (typing same time as post above)
