What time will Soutrhwest open fares tomorrow?

I got the Oops!! screen also! Not going to even try for about an hour but with the way everyone is talking about the prices we'll probably just drive down. Going Nov. 20th - 28th! Got our tickets just a few minutes ago to US/IOA, first trip to that park! Very excited!!

I didn't buy from US Airways a while back because they were too expensive. The flights were perfect but I thought Southwest would be cheaper.

Now I need to come back from Jersey Week and it's $ 661 one way for three of us. And that's leaving 12 o'clock with a 2 hour stop in Ft Myers. What a waste of a day.

I was doing the same thing.. probably hit the purchase button about 8 times before it went through.haha I just checked my bank statement online and only one purchase went through. phew!! I'm just happy to finally have our flights set!

I keep get the OOPS! as well, though for a couple of minutes I was able to see the prices out of San Antonio. $99 each way. Not their best deal...that's what I got from Air Tran for our trip tomorrow. I'm desperately hoping for $79 one-way flights.

I got oops messages again after getting through to see the prices. I was able to get in again only to see that our flight home went up $40!

Ok, now I hav 2 sets of flights for our trip in December.

Freaking hit the CONTINUE BUTTON and got an error. Waited and hit it again, now I have 2 confirmation numbers and double bookings!!

Trying to call Southwest now and straighten this out.

Will I be able to get my money back for one of these purchases!?!?

OMG, I've never been so frustrated! I saw it for a second and was pleasantly surprised bc, in total for the three of us, it appeared to be about $200 less to fly at thanksgiving time than august, than flights started disappearing before my eyes, than the oops and now I can't get back on! for about two seconds it looked to be $119 each way. I'm going nuts!

Well, I booked our flight down at $131/ticket. With taxes it comes to $566.80. It is more than I wanted to pay but I can live with it. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that the price will drop and I can use the credit for our return flight home.

On the positive side, we are flying out of BWI at 7:05 and arriving in Orlando at 9:30. At least we can spend most of our day at the park.

Pleased to report that I was finally able to book our flight...we managed to get the $109 rate for all. I had many "OOPS", many times, many places...very frustrating. I booked one set of three return flights and another set of two return flights for my in-laws. Relieved this is done...and that the price didn't go up in between attempts!

Good Luck to the rest of you...be persistent and it will finally happen!

From what I understand you should have no problem once you call...I would imagine SW is overrun with calls today, so you may have to be patient with that. My mum called last year with a similar problem and they even credited the difference to the lower fare...it's worth a shot if you have paid higher due to the online glitches. Good Luck!

This is just crazy....

I have NEVER had this much trouble with SW!

I am trying to do the Sat. before TG (11/20) to the Sunday after 11/28. The Sunday afternoon/eve flights all come up as Sold out!!! That's 6 sold out flights --- HOW THE HECK?????????? That has NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE.

So..... We ended up having to book another night - so we called and added another night at the POP -- And then we added tickets to MVMCP!! LOL

Flights are $224 pp one way from PVD - MCO and then coming home was $248 per person MCO- PVD home on monday. And we have 8 people going to get tix for.. ugh....

I need a drink now!!!!!

Just finished booking both ways.

I booked our return home (MCO_BDL) on Jan 1, when it first opened up. Actually, I tried to use reward tickets, but it said the schedule wasn't open. I went in on the PAY screen (not using RR) and was shocked to see $89 OW fares (Thank you JET BLUE! for compeition!) I booked three seats and threw in the EB check in to boot! Had that confirmation in hand by 10:30AM EST

Then I tried to do the down trip - BDL - MCO and got the oops screen! Have been trying for the last 1/5 hours. Finally succeeded a few minutes ago. Same $89 OW fare - which is less than I've seen for the trip we want to take in October.

Now I still have 2 Rapid Reward tickets to use!

After getting the opps message many times I "think" I have my son's flights home for Thanksgiving booked...they gave me a confirmation # but I haven't received an email and I can't confirm the confirmation on the Southwest website...keep getting the opp message...I'm waiting on the phone to speak with someone...but they said the hold time is up to 1 hr 18 min....

WTH??? It came up, then it said all afternoon flights -- sold out! WTH?? How can they be sold out when i can't even get the flights to come up??? I am sooooo frustrated right now!

I agree the PVD to MCO and even return are horrible- I had to pay 265 each down on Dec 27th and 171 each back on Jan 3- I wasnt able to get online until 11am (darn work meetings!) and then got opps messages until 1130 but really!! I thought the flights were opening at 10 EST- did they go up real early? We were going to go on the 26th but all the rates were 325 plus and since we are paying so much for flights had to give up a day at the World

Finally got 3 nonstop fares booked BUF to MCO Dec 10 - 16 @ $109 for DD & her two friends. Then tried to book my own flight using my RR points. Couldn't get through, called 120 minute wait. So I called my SW Credit Card # and they transfered me right over to the RR dept. I got my flights and I am finally done!!! Wish they would have been cheaper, but could be worse.

I'm on the phone now with Southwest, wait time is now between 14-22 minutes. I was double booked this morning so I need to call and cancel one of these.

On a side note, I was looking for airfare to Fort Myers for Christmas. My daughter is in Florida at college in Orlando and my in-laws live outside Fort Myers.

I've been pricing airfare around Christmas and the flights are well into the $350-$400 price range. Having experience flying around the holidays, it gets very expensive, especially the longer you wait.

We had an ideal situation with Spirit Airlines out of Atlantic City, but I would not book a Spirit flight, besides with the added baggage fees for carry-on (if they do go back into business) just was too high when you added everything together.

So I've been pricing flights out of Philly, Atlantic City (Airtran), and Newark. All flights were between $350-$500 round trip. That's crazy.

Luckily, I guess (even I think the price is a bit high) I was able to get round-trip NON-STOP DIRECT flights for $310 each after all the taxes and fees. The price down was $164 and the return was $118. I booked, I'm not going to wait, the prices will only go up. We are flying 12/22-12/28. I even priced driving down and taking the autotrain back, nope, it was more expensive and when you factor in a 2 hour flight versus driving 20 hours, I'd rather put the money towards flying.

Ok, still on hold with Southest. Never flew them before, I hope this all goes smoothly: the refund, the flight.

Also, what are the benefits to $10 early bird check-in? I did not sign up for it, but will I be able to pick a seat 24 hours before the flight using online checkin?

After many many oops messages I got all 5 of us booked from Detroit to Orlando for $780. I can't believe it! i'm SHOCKED I got such a GREAT deal!!! Keep trying, i just kept trying and it worked!
