Now that EE mornings are back.

They were not available when we went last June.

What time do you leave your WDW resort to get to the EE morning Park ?

What time do the buses/boats leave for the EE morning Park ?

What time is EE morning ? If a Park normally opens
at 9 am. The the EE time is 8 am ? 7:30 am ?
maybe even 7:00 am ?

Don't mind me...:confused:I am so confused.

Thanks for your help :)

We usually hit the bus stop by 6:30. You can usually get into the parks a little before the rides open. :D

EE will start one hour before the posted opening time.

Buses and other transportations start running about an hour before EE starts.

We leave our room around 7 am, grab a drink in the food court in our refillable mugs and go to the bus stop.

Busses usually start one hour prior to the opening of the park... around 7 am... but when we were there in October, we usually were on the 1st bus from our resort, and it was there around 7:10 am

EE morning, now now as Extra Magic Hour, is exactly that... one hour, and the parks open one hour prior to official time... no earlier. So, if the park opens at 9 am, Extra Magic Hour would start promptly at 8 am.

Hope this helps!

What day is EE offered for each park? I know I seen this question posted before but I cant get the search to work. Thanks.

During our most recent visits when the old EE was still going on, we had the rope drop at MK and MGM at 8am (one hour before normal opening time). The gates were open earlier to allow people to get to the ropes. At EPCOT, the rides were up and running (we went directly to Test Track) at around 7:30am; I don't think there was a rope drop there. There was no EE at AK

I'm not trying to answer your question because I haven't been to WDW under the new EE policy; I'm basically adding to your initial questions....Do the Early Magic Hours at the parks work the same way as the old EE's (rope drop at MK & MGM)? Is there a rope drop at AK or EPCOT?

I have been there recently and the transportion guides (as well as asking the front desk- which I did) will tell you that the buses do not start running until 30 MINUTES before the extra magic hour starts (which is also when PS for character breakfast's start- buses start running 30 min before that).

So I'm curious why some are saying an hour before- they don't say that in the guides they give (transportation ones) and they don't say that at the front desk and where *I* stayed at ASMu they did not run until 7:30. I know, because I was there early and had to wait.
LOL

Extra magic hour is an hour before normal opening time. Only once in my 9 day stay did they let us in a little earlier than that- about 5 minutes earlier. LOL

I'm typically an early riser anyway, so I'm usually up between 5 & 6am. Shower, change, pack my backpack and am out the door by 6:45-7am. This gets me to the park, depending on where I'm staying within about a 1/2 hour. At the resorts that I stayed at, all of the buses/monorails began operating 1 hour prior to the MH park opening. I always have a book with me, so I have something to do while waiting. During my last trip, I had arrived early at AK, so I jumped on a bus over to the AK Lodge and walked around the resort. By the time I was done, I hoped back on the bus and arrived at the gates, just as they opened. Disney has become much more stringent in enforcing the Magic Hour (EE) policy. There are CM's at each of the entrances asking to see a Disney Resort room key. No room key, no entrance. I really appreciated that and it did cut back on the amount of people entering early. I have run into CM's that are unsure when the buses start. Some say 1/2 hour, some say 1 hour. I would contact Disney transportation directly to confirm their procedures regarding MH. Better safe, than sorry. The monorail to EPCOT from the TTC DOES NOT start running until 7:30am, even on MH days, so please be aware of this if you are either staying at a monorail resort or go to the TTC. The monorail for the MK monorail resorts and to the MK begin at 7am. I would check with the CM to make sure it stops at the MK. The gates at the TTC do not open until 7am for the resort/MK monorail.

Here is the list of days for each park

Sunday: Magic Kingdom
Monday: Animal Kingdom
Tuesday: MGM
Wednesday: Epcot
Thursday: Magic Kingdom
Friday: Animal Kingdom
Saturday: MGM.

Hope this helps! Have a great time!:)

When we stayed at PO-FQ in October, when MH just started, the busses started at 7:10 everyday for MH parks. I know, because I looked at my watch so I would be able to report it here. Don't know if that has changed since then, but that is how it was. We were usually some of the 1st at the gate at the parks... so that was great! We also saw busses from all of the other resorts arriving at the parks around the same time we did, so I don't think it was exclusive to PO-FQ.
