What time to you arrive to MK with EMH

We will be at MK on 3/20 and will take advantage of the 8-9a EMH. My question is -- what time should we plan on arriving to the park that day? We are going to head to Tomorrowland first. I wasn't sure if 7:30a was good, or if we should shoot for earlier. Thanks!

We do EMH pretty much every day we are there and we always arrive 10 or 15 minutes before park opening. Our goal is just to try to be in the park when it opens. We always plan our FastPasses such that we aren't rushing to the same rides as everyone else. So we don't see the point of standing in a long line waiting for the park to open.

I also wondered what time they start letting people in the park during EMH.

Are you driving or taking the buses or monorail? If you are driving you will want to be parking 45 minutes before the start of EMH. The buses I’d say be at your bus stop 45 minutes before, the monorail I’d say be at the monorail stop 30 minutes before.

Typically they will let me people in about 7:45, sometimes that gets delayed closer to 8am.

7:30 should give you enough time to get through bag check (assuming you are arriving by bus) and be ready to go. If you wanted to ride 7DMT or PP, then I would get there earlier to be at the front of the crowd, but I don’t think Tomorrowland/Space Mountain has as much demand from the rope drop crowd.

If you are planning to park at TTC, be aware that the express monorail often isn’t running that early and the ferry can be delayed as well (I think Disney purposefully starts these later since on-site guests are the only ones using EMH and typically are not driving their own car). There are several reports of people getting frustrated and missing most of EMH when trying to park at TTC, though you can always park, walk to the Poly and monorail from there but it’ll take much longer time.
