what time to make ressies?

our flight arrives into MCO at 10:11am. i figure we should be at WDW by 12:30- is this correct? how long will check in take?

what time should i make my TS lunch ressie? is 1pm too early? can we get there in time? is 1:30 still too early?
we are staying at POR and wanted lunch at either Grand Floridian Cafe or the Wave. Planning to go to MVMCP at 4pm

I'm not an expert - planning my first trip in 20 years - but what we did is make a dinner ressie and plan for a CS lunch. This way, if there are flight delays or Magical Express takes a long time, you won't miss your ressie. I guess it wouldn't be a big deal to miss a reservation, but since we're traveling during Free Dining, it seemed less of a hassle to make a late reservation.

see- that makes sense to me, too- but others have posted to do a TS lunch and not miss any of MVMCP
