What time to make Raglan Road reservation?

I know that the shows start every hour on the hour for dinner, and originally I had our dinner reservation set for 6 pm. Should I change it to an in-between time, so that we are guaranteed to be seated for a show? I worry that if we get seated on time, we'll be busy ordering and looking at the menu during the show, and we may be done eating within an hour, and miss the next show. TIA!

yes, i suggest you make a reservation for the 1/2 hours. BUT, there are more shows going on than the one on the full hour. They have a long version, then they have one where they bring kids on stage to teach them to dance, and others.. I am not sure how to explain this right. we have eaten there many times, & seems like they change it up all the time.
we started going there since they 1st opened & wow have they gone though a great evolution! they even dance outside & into the far rooms. If it is busy you may have to wait a WHILE for a table after checking in, make sure you ask for a table on the main floor. you will get a pager. you can go inside to the bar while you wait for a table & catch any dancers while you wait. & nothing prevents you from staying long after you are done eating to enjoy the evening!
If you are caught reading the menu & dancers begin, just wait, enjoy the show,your server will come back!

BTW,, opentable usually has more reservations avail than disney reservations
