Hi all,

Last year I had my DD "Bibbidi Bobbidied" at the DD salon, it was a great experience. This year I would like to try the MK location. What time should I try to make her appointment for a 5:45 dinner ressie at Cinderella's Castle?

Thanks for any advice,
Marina :)

When I made our reservations, they told me 1 hour was enough since they are so close to each other.

You didn't say how old your DD was. IMO I think it's best to do it as early as possible so the little princess can strut through the park all day. Unless they're really young and you don't think they can keep it all on for the day.

She will be 6 when we go this summer & yes she loved strutting around w/ her do' ;)

I agree at 6 they love to strut their stuff, so the earlier the better, but not later than 4:00. They really always run late!

Also here is a tip that worked great for us...... at night we took out the crown and clips and wrapped the hair in toilet paper..... in the morning we just unwrapped, placed the crown/clips back in and we were off. She brought multiple costumes too. The hair lasted 4 days and each day she was a different princess!!

We had a 5:55pm ADR for CRT so my daughter went to BBB at 2:00pm. She was done by three so we rode some rides. It was nice to have the buffer time.

In 2012, we had a 6:40pm dinner. I put her BBB at 4:00. She got in early though because it was during Tropical Storm Debby so I'm sure there were cancellations. She has lots of hair but after her makeover and photo session and hanging out in Castle Couture for a while we had time for a show and several rides before checking in 15 minutes before our ADR. There were 2 younger girls we kept running into during our morning touring that had early appointments and they did their meet and greets made over and were at CRT when we went that evening.

This May we have a lunch reservation at 1, so I put her BBB time at 9:55. It's her first morning appointment. She's older but she enjoys walking around made over too.

Last year we had a clear day. No CRT, but without the rain she really enjoyed walking around getting compliments on her outfit (a sparkly tank, denim vest and puffy pettiskirt).

I say since you already have your CRT ADR, just be sure to get BBB at least 2 hours prior.

An hour is not enough time! The makeover takes 45 minutes easily and the MK boutique tends to run behind in the afternoon when crowds get high and hectic. CRT is only a few steps away, but it will save lots of unnecessary pressure and stress if you book around 2-3 pm.
