What time to line up for MSEP and Fantasmic!?

I'm traveling with my daughter and she is particularly fond of characters and entertainment. We are going to do Fantasmic! reserved dining our first night. I'm wanting the second show and hoping to do MSEP, fireworks then Fantasmic! so we can repeat anything she particularly loves on our second Disneyland night. For first MSEP showing what time should we line up? Is an hour okay? Earlier? If we want to do standby for Fantasmic! on our second night when should you line up for that? I assume the second showing for both of these will be less crowded? Thanks for any tips!

For fantasmic, I recommend going immediately after fireworks. Ideally, you'd watch fireworks from the castle hub rather than Main Street to get there faster.
