What time to leave WDW to board Disney Magic??

We are staying 2 nights at WDW before our cruise. What time should we head for the pier that day?? We were thinking of eating breakfast at our resort(WL) before heading out. I want to get their early enough to turn in our rental car and check in with out having to rush around that day?

The drive takes about 1 hour; you can't get in to the terminal any earlier than 10:30 am, so there's no sense in arriving much earlier than that.

We timed it so that we arrived roughly at 10:30, then pulled the car up to drop the luggage and family off at which point I then took the car back to the rental agency, caught the shuttle back to the port and met up with the family.
