What time to leave St Catharines?

Our flight leaves at 11:15am on a Wednesday morning. I'm trying to decide when to leave here in St Catharines. We'll be crossing over at the Peace Bridge in Fort Erie. I've done the route before, but always early or late.

Does 8:15am sound about right?

I'm worried about any early morning traffic, but most rush hour traffic is heading TOWARDS Toronto, right?

I would think you'd be ok leaving 3 hours early.

Your going to Buffalo airport? I dont think it would be busy unless theres some sort of sporting event going on in Buffalo.

Leaving St Catharines at 8am is fine, allows for alot of time.......

Around 8 sounds right since you want to be there at least an hour before departure. When we went we crossed at Queenston-Lewiston rather than Ft. Erie. Don't know which is busier on a weekday morning, though.

I would leave by 8:00 too (we are in St. Catharines too)! My theory is this: we are on vacation therefore want as little stress as possible. If leaving at 8:15 makes me feel stressed, then I would leave at 7:45, that way my stress level would go down and what would I do with the extra 1/2 hour at home anyway? (sleep ) We don't care if we have to sit at the airport, we get something to eat, sit and watch all the other people go by.....and wait for our wonderful vacation
