what time to leave EPCOT and best way to MK

On our last day we want to hop from EPCOT to MK to see MSEP and WISHES. WISHES is at 10 and MSEP is at 9pm We don't need to be there until 8pm. What time would you recomend leaving the EPCOT gates to be at MK gates at 8PM? AND what way would you go? Lately I have read lots of stories that the monorail isn't too dependable. I would hate to be "stuck" on the monorail and miss getting to MK on time. there are 6 of us.

I would recommend leaving Epcot at 7:15 PM or maybe a bit earlier and you would need to take the Monorail from Epcot to the TTC because it's the only transportation they have which goes there. After you arrive at the TTC you can then take the Express Monorail to the Magic Kingdom.

You could also walk to the beach club and take the bus to MK. I'd leave Epcot at 7:00.

I would definitely take the monorail over any buses out the back.

There is nothing 'undependable' about the monorail. Yes, it has it's glitches every now and again, but I have to say that in all my trips to WDW (about 30 since '99), I have had only two incidents while using the monorail.
So.....take the monorail to the MK, then transfer to the Express monorail. I would head out of Epcot by 7ish...that way you will have plenty of time.
