What time to go?

Hi all. What time does the esplanade clear from bag check and mass morning crowds? 10:30/11/11:30? Later?

It depends a lot on when the park opens. I would say that the Esplanade area usually clear up pretty quickly after the parks open, but bag check lines can remain long throughout the day. I've noticed that bag check does tend to ebb and flow. If you happen to get there right when a bus (Harbor side) or tram (DTD side) arrives, the lines can get suddenly long.

Saturday the park opened at 8 with EMH at 7. We got there around 8:20. Bag check took less than 10 minutes and there were only a few people at each gate to get in.

Bag check and DL were a breeze at 10:45. It was probably clear by 10:30. Much less stressful to go a little after rope drop IMO.
