We will be staying at the Vistana Resort in Lake Buena Vista, in May.

For example, if MK opens at 9 am, what time should we arrive
at the parking lot. I know it's only a 5 minute drive to the park entrance, but I don't know what to expect once we get to the parking lot.

If I remember correctly, we'll need to take the monorail or ferry, over to MK. Does that start before 9 am, or at 9 am??

I hope I'm correct in assuming that the parks won't be "crazy" packed in May, even though its the last week. We will try to be done with the parks by Friday(the start of Mem.weekend).

I'd love any advice on driving into the parks, as we haven't done that in a long time.

To get to parking lot of park you want to go to at least 45 minutes before park opening.:teeth:

We have stayed there and loved it. Anyways, I know that this may be frowned upon but here it goes. We get to the TTC about one hour before the park opens and then we go to the HOTEL MONORAIL entrance and tell the CM that we have PS at the Contemporary. They let you right on the monorail while everyone else is still waiting for the Express Monorail to MK. Now while I do not condone lying we always do have PS for Chef Mickeys... It may just be on a different day. Anyways you can get to the MK a little early get your bags checked and enjoy the entertainment all before the main monorail starts running. I am sure that I will get a lot of grief for this, but in my defence I now stay on property and will get payback when i leave Friday with a 4 1/2 year old and 3 month old but my hubby will be staying at home. Good Luck

We were at the Magic Kingdom, last Saturday, Nov 8. We arrived at the ticket window at approx. 8:30. There was a huge line waiting for the monorail. After we purchased our tickets, the line was gone!!!!!!
When we went to board the Monorail, they actually put us on the one that goes to the resorts. We went thru the resorts and arrived at the Magic Kingdom gates and were bag checked and waiting for the opening train to arrive at 8:45am.
Hope this helps.
Robin
