What time to arrive DHS for 8AM ADR?

We have an 8:00 ADR H&V on a day DHS opens at 9:00. What time will they let us in the gate to go back to H&V? What time should we leave POR?

We try to leave the resort 45 minutes to an hour before our reservation. You need to be at the restaurant 15 minutes early so I would leave the resort by 7:00. If depending on the bus I was told to tell the concierge desk the night before that you have a reservation before park opening. Not sure if it is necessary but we do it anyways and have never been late to the park.
