What time should we leave???

Can anyone give me some idea as to what time we should leave our resort for our flight home?

We will leaving from AKL going to MCO, we will need to drop our rental car off at the airport as well (either Dollar or National).

Our flight will leave at 10:00am on a monday morning, there will be two adults and one preteen. How much time should we allow? Where should we check for traffic conditions?

I have a similar question. Flight at 8:30AM on a Monday morning. Anyone have any suggestions for me? We usually leave 2 hours or so before our flight, but that would be leaving Disney at 6:30AM at the latest.

Not sure if this helps, but, our flight yesterday was at 2:30 pm. We left DD at 1:05pm. Curbed the luggage at 1:30pm, Dee returned the rental car, Brook and I smoked till he returned, we went through security, purchased Mickey D's and were at the gate at approx. 2:05pm. Plenty of time to sit and enjoy our Mickey D's (if that is possible.) before boarding. We flew SWA.

I'd love to hear more responses on this, Ive read in message boards that sometimes the security at MCO can be a 2 hour wait?
The towncar assures me a 2 hour window will be fine to be picked up from my resort so I'm trusting their judgement. Any other travelers willing to tell us how the return trip went??

MCO's website is still indicating that you should be there two hours before your flight. There was just a post on the trip board where someone was not allowed on the flight because they had not checked their baggage one hour before their flight, so this might be something you would want to keep in mind. The airline was American West, I do not know if this is just their policy or all airlines.
