What time should we leave MK area for Busch Gardens?

We are staying in a hotel in the Magic Kingdom area and will be driving to Busch Gardens Tampa. This will be on Saturday, October 25th.

What time should we leave our hotel in order to get to BGT, park, get our tickets, and make rope drop? And for that matter, when is the actual opening going to be at BGT on a Saturday when the park opens at 10 am?

Drive time is about 1 hour and 15 minutes so I would leave at least 2 hours before opening time as it'll be a saturday and there could some decent sized lines to get your tickets.Instead look into getting your tickets online and printing them out on your printer as they are offering $10 off your ticket if you buy them online.

It doesn't take that long to get to Tampa. My family drives over usually in an hour and a half. My dad also speeds too. We've never hit traffic on Saturday or Sunday. As for the lines, I have no idea, but if you get your passport at SeaWorld, you can probably avoid the mess all together.
