What time should we get to Legoland?

Hi all!

We are planning on a day trip to Legoland Orlando while we're in the area visiting the World. I know the obvious answer is to get to Legoland as early as possible, before opening, and then hit as many attractions as possible before it gets crowded ... or is it? :confused3

We would like to have a nice breakfast somewhere on Walt Disney World property before heading out to Legoland. My specific question is how late can we arrive to Legoland but still have enough time to reasonably see everything we need to see? (ahem, then also get back to WDW in time for an 8pm ADR?)

thanks!

We got there at opening, 10am, and left by 3pm. But it was a very slow day, people wise. Little to no lines. We also went way to the back and worked our way front. I think the majority that day started at the front and that helped. We also made a list of must sees. They all wanted the "schools" which is in the back, we skipped the climbing places, the build your own place, and a couple of others, mainly because of the age range of our kids and how many people were at that spot. If there were too many, it wasn't worth it for us. When we left, and even now, what they talk about most is Ford Driving School and the Pirate show.

Legoland targets younger kids, and we have found the park to be busier early in the day with crowds fading later in the early afternoon as the little ones run out of steam.

If you arrive late, you will likely hit the peak of crowds. Later in the afternoon, the crowds will fade, but beware that Legoland is not open as late as a Disney park.

You also have to consider the weather -- super hot days could mean you are better off in the morning, and how fast your kids run out of gas.
