What time should I make our reservation at 50's Primetime to make the 8:00 Fantasmic?

Confused about what time to make my ADRs. What time would everyone recommend that I make our reservations at the 50's Prime Time Cafe to make the 8:00 Fantasmic showing in September? Also, am I correct in my understanding that if I am staying on Disney property I can make my reservations 190 days in advance?

Hi, no, you're confused on that.

You can make your ADRs 180 days before you arrive. BUT... you can make up to 10 days worth if you're staying on Disney property.

They make you eat very early for the fantasmic "package"....at any of
the restaurants....

You won't be able to get a ressie past 5:30....If that.

Thanks! I had it confused. This deciding on what times to eat is really stressing me out!:) We are more of a fly by the seat of your pants family. It's hard to decide what time the kids will want to leave the park, pool etc.

This will help you calculate your 180 day mark: http://pscalculator.net/pscalc.php

If it's any help at all, here are our ADRs:

- Chef Mickey's for dinner (ice cream sundae bar sold us on dinner.)

- Le Cellier for my son, the steak fiend!

- 1900 Park Fare dinner w/ Cinderella & the stepsisters

- Coral Reef-- one whole wall is an aquarium!

-'Ohana at the Poly

- Fantasmic at Hollywood & Vine

I made most of my ADRs for 5ish. I figure we'll be at the parks early, head back for a swim or nap at 1ish and then be ready for evening by the 5 pm reservations. Most are close enough to the Poly that they won't require much traveling time. The one exception is Fantasmic. On that day, I'm planning a morning at the pool, then heading for HS sometime around lunch and making an afternoon of it.

Does that help at all??

50s P/T does not do the Fantasmic package.

I'd plan on eating no later than about 5:00. You'll need to give yourself enough time to be seated, eat, get to the theatre, and be seated. Since you're not part of the package for reserved seating, you really need to be there 45-60 minutes early, and probably closer to the 60 minutes.

If you are staying in a Concierge room you should be able to get ADRs 190 days out. Our trip is currently 187 days out and we already have dinner two dinner show reservations(luau, Hoop de Doo) a few ADR's and one tour already booked for us by the Concierge planning team. :) I called and confirmed that they are in the system and have the ADR numbers. We have so far gotten the exact times that we requested. (Have not tried for Cinderella's Royal Table as we are not really interested) I believe this perk is only for Club level guests.

It is 180 days +10 days prior to departure if you are staying on Disney property. Just so you know..I was in Disney in November and ate at The Prime Time for lunch and the service was aweful! My lunch took and hour and a half to come out! :scared1: only to be overcooked and dry..it must have been under a heating lamp for awhile  . I would make a 5:30pm reservation because you will wait about a 1/2 hour to be seated and then it gives you 2 hours until the show to relax. Have a great time ;)
