What time should I make ADR for arrival night?

Our flight gets to MCO at 4:30pm (hopefully) and we are taking the Magical Express to the Wilderness Lodge. I would like to go to either 1900 Park Faire or the Hoop Dee Doo Review for dinner the first night. What time can I safely make a reservation?

I always plan it this way:
-1 hr from exiting the plane to arriving at resort (this has been average for me, but it can sometimes take longer)
-30 mins for hotel check-in
-1 hr for travel to dinner reservation

Although, if you don't feel the need to check-in right away: I have had a ME driver drop me off at a different resort (not mine) for dinner. I don't know if this is permitted anymore (my experience was in 2006) but it was really nice of him.

I hope that helps!

So based on the above an 8:00pm would be OK for 1900 Park Faire or the 9:30pm for Hoop Dee Doo Review. Thanks for your help!

I would probably not do an ADR any earlier than about 8:00. Assuming that your flight arrives on time, you will hopefully, then, have a few minutes to settle into your room before heading out to dinner. It's possible that you'll find that you could have scheduled earlier, but there are a couple of things that could "extend" your schedule. A late flight arrival. Long lines at check-in. Even if those things happen, you'll probably be able to make n 8:00ADR.

If you really want to have a comfortable time schedule, you might consider dining at the Wilderness Lodge that first night and saving the others restaurants for another night. Just a thought.
