Hi-

We will be meeting several family members on our May 2003 trip at O'hana. We've been there before, but we were there pretty early and didn't see anything interesting; ie coconut races. What time should we reserve so we don't miss out on the fun?

Thanks,

Belu

I believe the activities start at 6, or at least they did the night we ate there

We had a PS for 8:00 and saw two coconut races and one hulahoop race, plus the water parade. About 15 minutes or so after we finished dinner we went out on the Poly beach and watched the MK fireworks. :)

We ate at 'Ohana's at 5:00pm a couple of years ago and found that it was a little too early. Last November, we had a 6:30 PS which worked out great. DS got to do both the coconut race and hula hoop race.

We just ate their on August 2nd. We had 5:50 reservations and our kids participated in both contests. It seemed like the coconut rolling contest started at about 6:15 or so, followed by the hula hoop contest. The dining room "host" also walked around to each table, greeting people, asking where you were from, etc.

We had a nice table near the windows overlooking the water. The meal was delicious and it was the nicest evening of our trip.:D

we ate there 2 weeks ago when the magic kingdom was having fireworks at 10:00pm. We were a late walk in (no ps) around 9:15. We were seated at 9:30 at a table near the window with a great magic kingdom view. they were staring hula lessons when we arrived and my 5yr old daughter joined in and had a blast....she even received a flower lei for participating.....While we were enjoying dinner they dimmed the lightes and piped in the music from the magic kingdom and our view of the fireworks was wonderful.

Thank You for all the reply posts!!!!

It looks like a 545 PM seating is our best bet! We eat pretty slow so this should work out fine. Were going to MK after to hopefully see the parade and fireworks!!!!

Thanks again!!!
