What Time is the 4 o'clock Rain? -- Updates 11/2-4 -- Tim's surprise and Marco&Recap

Gotta love how the two of you are up and at 'em so early in the morning. I can't get my bunch moving that early. I might entice them into it by booking a breakfast ADR. Your breakfasts looked delicious.

Mark's picture on Big Thunder Mountain was so funny! He was having a grand old time!

Yay all caught up!
WOW....How did you remember all that, Doreen?

Kathy all these TR's and never realized that it was Mark that got you into Disney. I always thought it was the other way around!!

I had gone once before Mark and I started dating (it was in 1976 with a girlfriend; I didn't get much out of it then, but we kind of sped through the parks, did Sea World, they used to have a wax museum on I-4 that we did and other things. So Mark is the one who made me fall in love with it.

Aw Rolo is such a cutie! And sweet sweet Cookie. Glad to hear she is hanging in there.:)

Thank you; we are going to Iowa on October 5 and I can't wait to meet Rolo; and our sweetie is doing pretty good (my sister-in-law is putting her dog down this Saturday; Lassie is a year older than Cookie).

Glad you had a smooth flight. Always a good thing.

Yes it is.

Oh DH & I LOVE WPE. We try to get there every trip. We have always had a good meal there. I guess that is why we have not made it to Raglan Road yet & some others down there because we really love WPE. We tend to be creatures of habit.

Once you fall in love with something, it is hard to start going somewhere else.

We really like being on the third floor or higher. I do not like having people above me so we like the higher floors.

I don't normally mind...if there are elevators. :rotfl:

Love hearing good reports about BOG. We are trying it in a few weeks for the first time. I want to try that onion soup & the pork chop looks really good. I am not a pork person but that looks yummy. Cannot wait!

I've had three good meals there so no complaints from me.

Aw love your pic on the People Mover & love the Nike sandals!!:thumbsup2

Thank you.

Wow you did whop Mark's butt on Buzz!! You go girl. I know I did that on our last trip with DH & was so proud of myself.:) Of course he got you back on TSM but that's ok. I never do good on that either for some reason.

I got half the battle done; now I just have to win at TSM.

Gotta love that 10 min. wait for ToT.:thumbsup2

My favorite wait time!

Too bad Mark did not get his ride on RNRC.:sad2:

He didn't seem to mind (I think he knew he'd get to do it in December)

Ha ha. I take the redneck photos all the time. Why not?

Why not is righ? I'm not spending an arm and a leg for pictures that I'll never put out anywhere.

Aw love the Tigger on your shoulder. How long did it last? I might want to do that sometime.

They tell you it can last up to 10-14 days; however, since it was hotter than heck and I was sweating all the time, all the rain and the pool time, it didn't last as long...maybe 6 days this time. The first one that I got last December lasted two weeks.

We have not done the Backlot tour since we were picked to be part of the action. Yeah I made the mistake of saying I wanted a simple part & ended up with the water coming at me full blast!! DH & boys really got into the act though & they are so shy that it was so funny to see them get into the act!! I will never forget that.

That is awesome that you as a family go tto do that. Andy (our oldest) was picked when he took his baseball team; it is something that team has never forgotten (it was four years ago and he'll run into some of the players and they still bring it up). Good memories there.

Wow wow wow- the waits for TSM never cease to amaze me!! It does not seem to loose it's popularity at all!!

No it doesn't.

Another thing we have never done is the drawings. Really need to rectify this. My husband is an amazing artist & we have a picture in our living room of a fisherman he drew so I don't think I want to compete with that.:)

You really ought to do it; maybe he'll do a really good Disney one and you can hve that hanging in your house.

What a bummer about Sci Fi.:sad2: At least they took it off the bill. I am surprised they did that also. Good to know. We enjoy Mama Melrose's & going back to 50's this time.

I hope to put Mama Melrose back on the list for next late summer/early fall. We ate at 50's last year and won't be back...we didn't care for the food at all.

Love going on The Land. Nice & relaxing.

And air-conditioned. :thumbsup2

We have not tried the sit down at Rose & Crown yet but will need to try soon. Wow never heard of the Scotch Eggs but they look good. Glad you enjoyed the scallops. DH loves scallops so sounds like he would enjoy it there.

Rose & Crown jumped several notches to be in our top five...that's how good it was.

Glad the rain ended for you by the time you were done. Unfortunately at that time of year the rain is an ordinary thing.

Yes, so I learned about the rain. I really need to go back to going in September.

Aw love love love the pic of Mark with Dumbo. You should have one printed and enlarged & framed. So cute!

That might be a good birthday idea. :)

OK now hopefully I can keep up!!

While you were typing this, I did an update. I don't think I'll do another one until Friday. So I think you will be okay.

I'm sure you all know where we were eating breakfast, but here is a picture to give you a hint
No hint needed. This ain't my first KatMark TR.

And if you were headed to grab breakfast at the MK from a place that didn't take an ADR, that would be an easy guess too. :rolleyes1

I put Mark in charge of the plans for the morning and he said to go left. So left we went and headed here
Going left at Disney World is always a good call! :thumbsup2

After a fun meeting with Aladdin and Jasmine, we headed to the Jungle Cruise. We knew it was closing while we were there so we wanted to get on it when we had the opportunity
Any unemployment jokes or anything like that from the skippers? Sometimes they work some good "current event" type material in.

We stopped in the dump shop so Mark could see if he could find someone to have a sword fight with.
And??? :confused3

All your pics at CP are making me so sad that I can't get an ADR for Dec :( So yummy. Super cute pics. I love the one of Mark on BTMR!!! I know one crazy blonde girl who will sword fight with him in Dec.

I definitely recognized that breakfast spot, since I was just there last week! :goodvibes Your pictures with Pooh and the gang are great, and I'm glad you had a good waitress. That always helps the meal be memorable for a good reason!

Your park tour start after CP sounds exactly like mine, minus Jungle Cruise since it was closed for me. :sad1: And it was definitely cool that you got to ride Magic Carpet with Aladdin and Jasmine!

I knew immediately when you said you had an early breakfast that you were going to Crystal Place! I love the Eeyore and Tigger ears! Someday I will make it to Crystal Palace for a meal just probably not breakfast. My poor stomach couldn't handle all the greasy goodness. :sad2:

I have decided we are heading left on our MK day too! Between Peter Pan being closed and FP+, I don't have the ugency to get certain rides done first thing in the morning.

So cool that you got to ride the Magic Carpets with Aladdin & Jasmine! And the meet and greet looks like a lot of fun. You guys were chatting up a storm!

That spider in the JC line doesn't even look real but it still scares me! I hate spiders.

Awe, I would have had a sword fight with Mark! That would have been fun.

Love all the pictures of BTMR, especially the one of Mark. I think I've mentioned it before but he reminds me so much of my Dad who passed away in 2007. Always makes me smile when I'm reading your TRs.

You are spoiling us with so many great photos :)

I love the ones of you both in front of the castle - what lovely anniversary shots

The pictures at CP are just so cute!

You two are so adorable! I don't know how you do it - day after humid day and trip after trip! I just love following along!

YAY for CP breakfast - it is our MUST Do every trip.. We've eaten there on each trip since 2008 and never once had a bad experience (I hope I don't jynx it).

I love how you let Mark plan that morning... That's an excellent idea!

So happy you got to ride BTMRR and Splash. Also - it sounds like you had a great meet n' greet with Jasmine and Aladdin! Awesome!

D~

We haven't done Crystal Palace in a while. DH loves a breakfast buffet !!

I love all of your hat photos. We always used to try on hats until the the kids came home with "critters" in their hair. So we avoid that pastime now.

I love that photo of Mark on BTMMR !!

Susan

Kathy,

Your pictures of CP have me so excited about our first ADR ever for this place. We will be having breakfast before the MK opens the same day as when we are going to be at the MVMCP. I can't wait to walk down Mainstreet before opening and then walking Mainstreet at midnight. :cool1:

Fell a bit behind but I'm all caught up now!

So glad you had a nice time at Rose & Crown! It's definitely on our top 5! We've only done it for lunch on previous trips but this time we'll be there for dinner so it will be a slightly different experience! Although I'm sure it will be equally as fantastic!

Every time we go to WDW and don't make an ADR for CP, I regret it...Now I'm wondering if I should try and sneak it in somewhere.... :scratchin Reading TRs wreaks havoc on my planning! :rotfl2:

I love the smoochy photo of you guys at CP! I'm sure Eeyore appreciated Mark's head-gear. Adorable! I totally love your first plate of food - puffed French toast... Ahhhh!! :thumbsup2

We've never taken a spin on the magic carpet ride. It's mental for us. No shade for the wait so that's that. Of course we have no excuse in December. ;)

Oh man, I remembered that JC was closing down for refurb too late. Em hit up EMH the night before they closed but I didn't go so I completely missed that ride this time. Bummer!

So did you pick up a sword and fight with Mark in the dump shop?

First off, I have to say...hooray for the Milwaukee Zoo! My parents used to take us there once a year when I was a kid (I grew up in WI). I haven't been there in ages, but it does bring back memories. :goodvibes

I hope Mark is feeling better!

That pasta looks absolutely disgusting. Good for you for speaking up about it! I never do, always just say something lame about how I wasn't that hungry, or something...sounds like I should be more honest, at least at WDW!

I have somehow never managed to do the animation class, though I really I want to. Rapunzel, though? She seems WAY too hard.

That Scotch Egg looks delicious. I would like one right now. I've had a few really surprisingly nice meals at R&C, especially considering nothing on the menu usually prompts me to make an ADR there. I always have to remind myself how good they are!

I'm jealous of your early ADR at the Crystal Palace! I only managed to swing one of those once...I'm always booking them too late. It sure was nice, though. And I love that buffet!

Catching up on all your recent posts has made me very hungry. Maybe I should focus on the pasta, to curb my appetite? :rotfl:

Loved the update!! CP is my favorite character breakfast. I love entering the park early in the morning with the freshly washed streets and empty castle area photos!!!

Mark has such fun in WDW! You are so lucky to be able to share your love of Disney. My DH just doesn't get it. :sad2: Oh well. I will still go anyway, with or without him. My DD loves it, so I know I will always have a companion.

Going left is always best in the morning. That side of the park has no one around!

What the....

Another update???? Are you serious? :faint:

Love CP breakfast, and lunch, and dinner. We need to got back there for breakfast one of these days.

Looks like you guys were hitting a ton of rides quickly too. :thumbsup2

My first plate:

Yum! It just needs a little bowl of watermelon on the side. ;)

I put Mark in charge of the plans for the morning and he said to go left. So left we went and headed here:

I love the entrance to Adventureland!
Look at that beautiful blue sky and the lovely palm trees. I would sure love to be walking around there this morning.

Enjoying the trip report dont normally read them but this one has got me hooked
