I'm loving your weather reports as well. I'll be keeping a closer on eye on them. Now that we're in the New Year, can't wait to get out there. April can't get here fast enough.

No wind today. Still cold, but without the wind, feels warmer than what it actually is.

8:30 am and it's currently 23. Should get up to 39 today.

It is 10:33am and a very cold 19 degrees out. We got a few inches of snow last night and it brought super cold weather with it.

SUE, Ohhhh, yup, we are so happy he is back to RI, all unpacked, groceries all bought for his apt. And busy finishing up on his readings before class starts Monday ... so bring on the snow, east coast!

THUMPER, I believe we are now headed in the direction of nothing but really nice sweet weather!!! The temps will just get higher and higher as we head towards the Spring and your vacation!!!

It's been cold for us lately. No rain, so the temps drop. It was 39 degrees at 11 AM yesterday. It was 36 driving into work at 7 AM today. It is supposed to warm up to the high 50's this weekend - still too cold for here!

(what can I saw - I'm an 80's kinda girl, so Winter is not my favorite time of year, weather-wise.)

kate, I live in Oceanside right on the Carlsbad line almost into Vista ... hence calling everything around me Tri-City! I am actually right next to Mira Costa College! If you know that area? I am pretty new to SD, March '10. So still getting to know the area. I have heard of Mission Valley but unsure where it is? My son lives in a La Jolla!

Anyway, yes, omg, by 2pm the skies opened up and it was once again slamming down rain. Omg, this has to stop BUT now today is starting out LOVELY! (Just like yesterday, sun was shining brightly in the a.m.). I think though "Fritz" said beautiful the rest of the week!

Mission Valley is where Fashion Valley Mall is as well as Qualcomm Stadium. It's like 5 minutes from downtown. I'm familiar with Oceanside.. I used to live in San Marcos when I was supposed to go to Cal State there, and I frequented O'Side very often!

I would say no more then 3" The snowflakes were as big as I had ever seen them! Sadly the are forecasting another snow "incident" on Tuesday. Hopefully it will be a bust too.

They say and I just looked we will be getting about a inch of snow tonight. Yeah this morning when I got up I looked out and there was nothing out there. I was so happy!!!!

Lets hope it is a bust, we will be heading to Florida on Thursday. No more snow till after I go. We will not be going to WDW this time visiting some good friends that moved down there.

Yesterday was beautiful. Bright and sunny. Today is also bright and sunny. Warmed up to 45 yesterday. Supposed to get up to 45 again today. I was able to wear shorts and a t-shirt yesterday. After being in single digit temps, it felt like Spring yesterday. Too bad it's not supposed to last. Supposed to get really cold and back down to single digit temps.

11:23 am and it's currently 39 degrees.

South Jersey...about as far south as you can go.

30 degrees / wind chill factor 17 degrees.

Sun is shining and about 1/2 inch (if that) of snow left from yesterday.

Main roads perfectly clear, side roads still have some patchy ice in the shady spots.
