it is 10:55am here and a cold, cloudy 20 degrees. Not sure if we are supposed to get snow as the weather guys keep changing their minds.

32 and mostly cloudy, so much for a snow storm! WRONG again weather men, but I am glad they are don't want snow:rolleyes1

Well it poured yesterday for about an hour and then it all stopped! Yeah! I ran out and finished my shopping yesterday and the malls were crazzzzy!

I had to got to 2 different malls and between the traffic and the stores crowds I literally came home with a migraine! Everyone was nice and friendly but the noise levels in the malls and the hustle and bustle .... ugh !!!! :headache:

So now we are off to "Lindbergh Field" aka San Diego Airport to pick up my son, Mike, home from law school for 3 weeks! Yeah!!!!!!! :woohoo:

It is pouring rain! And cold! 63 degrees! Looks windy out as well! :headache:

Happy Sunday, everyone!!!! :goodvibes

Glad Mike made it home. Hope you all enjoy the holidays. Thanks again for the package. You have us weighing our options again. I mentioned to my mom that DW and I were going to San Diego in April. She said she wanted to see the ocean at least once before she leaves this world. So she and D'sis might be going with us. So now we're looking at all the options you sent. Still might go with our original choice. Noticed they rent out condos, so we might go that route if my mom is serious about going.

Well, we got a foot of snow on Friday. Over the weekend, temps went back up and it's almost all gone. Supposed to get warmer during the week. Slight chance for more snow during the week. Hopefully we'll get some for a white Christmas.

It's cloudy today. Supposed to be windy later on in the day. 47 degrees at 9:21 am.

It's 1:20p and 29 degrees, cloudy here and windy. With the wind it feels like 18 degrees out, and I feel colder because of no SUN.

Got our first snow late yesterday, just a dusting but it's white out there!

It's 8:42a and 29 degrees, still windy and cloudy with very light snow showers.

It's 10:37a and 31 degrees and the sun is trying to come out:banana:

Have fun with your son being home!

Thanks, Sue, we are loving him being here with us!!!

Thanks, Thumper!! And again you are very welcome for the package!! HOW EXCITING for DSis and DMom!! They will LOVE San Diego!! :woohoo: Going on 3 years here in SoCal and Brett and I still cannot believe that we are so close to the ocean ... I mean minutes by car. And every time we go anywhere, we try and drive the coast line to get to where we are going. Looking at that absolutely beautiful Pacific Ocean is such therapy for all of us.

Soooooo people, it has been absolutely a NIGHTMARE here. Thousands of car accidents as NO ONE in SoCal knows how to drive when it rains. It has been POURING since Friday, POURING! The wind, the rain, the fog ... :headache:

We are headed to Hollywood for the long weekend and everyone from the weathermen on the TV, on the radio and online have PROMISED me SUN :sunny: SUN :sunny: SUN for the entire holiday :santa: weekend. So bring on the rain now and just make sure it is shining by the 23rd!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so all I can say is BRRRR It says 34 but feels like 23. Holy moly the sun is out but you would never know it.

Good afternoon! I'm guessing I have the most boring weather on this thread right now. 12:53 and 76 sunny degrees. We're headed for a record breaking high this afternoon. Definitely not normal December weather, but not bad either.

So, the reason for all of my time missing posting has arrived. Victoria was born Dec. 8 at 8:28am, 7 lbs 3 oz, 19 3/4 inches, and is absolutley beautiful!

So wish my weather was as boring as yours!

It's 10:32a and 37 degrees and YES it's CLOUDY again:sad2:

You need to show them some pictures of Victoria, she is so so cute!

:scared1:OMG! It's snowing:sad2:

It's 1:20p and 35 degrees and SNOWING!

10:31am, 60 degrees. RAIN. :headache:

Day 7 of this crap. :headache: Many of the SD County rail lines are under water. Brett had to cancel all rail service in San Diego. Amtrak, The Coaster and The Sprinter. 10,000 people commute daily on the rail lines in SD County. 3am and Brett and staff had to start to schedule bus service for 5am at every train depot in the county.

I have never seen such intense fierce rain, whipping winds and thick fog as these past 7 days. :headache:

All we are hearing constantly is fire and police. Not to mention the noise of the rain crashing down. This is just awful. :headache:

Here is one pic Brett emailed me from work yesterday afternoon. The water is never ever that high. This is Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner.

Hope the weather in California takes a turn for the better real soon. What an awful mess!

This week in Tucson we've actually had TWO overcast days and a few sprinkles. I'm telling you, the weather reporting here drives me absolutely bonkers! If it even LOOKS like it might rain, they issue weather alerts. And if there is ever any actual inclement weather, severe weather advisories start scrolling across the tv screens. They're always talking about the possibility of snow in the mountains, and issuing alerts. Seriously, there isn't a huge percentage of people in Tucson that live way up in the mountains.

Coming from an area of the country that really does experience very cold and snowy winters, it just drives me crazy!

Sorry about the terrible weather, Kar! We could actually use some of here, we're now in a drought.

It is 2:18 and 66 degrees with overcast skies. The kids are enjoying the weather before a cool down tomorrow.

Thank you all for new baby wishes! As soon as I have time to deal with photobucket, I'll post a picture. But with a new baby, 2 birthdays, and Christmas, life is hectic once again.

WOW! That is just crazy. :scared1: Not to sound rude or anything, but sure am glad I didn't pick this week to head your way. Hang in there.

Your weather is headed our way, but we won't feel the full effect the way you did. We're actually going to get it in the way of snow though. Expected to get about of foot in our mountains. Which means we might see about 3-4 inches in the city.

Right now it's cloudy outside. Windy and cold. No snow yet. It's 1:30pm and it's currently 40 degrees with the wind chill making it feel like 32.
