it is 10:55am here and a cold, cloudy 20 degrees. Not sure if we are supposed to get snow as the weather guys keep changing their minds.
Well it poured yesterday for about an hour and then it all stopped! Yeah! I ran out and finished my shopping yesterday and the malls were crazzzzy!
I had to got to 2 different malls and between the traffic and the stores crowds I literally came home with a migraine! Everyone was nice and friendly but the noise levels in the malls and the hustle and bustle .... ugh !!!!
So now we are off to "Lindbergh Field" aka San Diego Airport to pick up my son, Mike, home from law school for 3 weeks! Yeah!!!!!!!
It is pouring rain! And cold! 63 degrees! Looks windy out as well!
Happy Sunday, everyone!!!!![]()

Have fun with your son being home!
Glad Mike made it home. Hope you all enjoy the holidays. Thanks again for the package. You have us weighing our options again. I mentioned to my mom that DW and I were going to San Diego in April. She said she wanted to see the ocean at least once before she leaves this world. So she and D'sis might be going with us. So now we're looking at all the options you sent. Still might go with our original choice. Noticed they rent out condos, so we might go that route if my mom is serious about going.
Victoria was born Dec. 8 at 8:28am, 7 lbs 3 oz, 19 3/4 inches, and is absolutley beautiful!
Good afternoon! I'm guessing I have the most boring weather on this thread right now. 12:53 and 76 sunny degrees. We're headed for a record breaking high this afternoon. Definitely not normal December weather, but not bad either.
So, the reason for all of my time missing posting has arrived. Victoria was born Dec. 8 at 8:28am, 7 lbs 3 oz, 19 3/4 inches, and is absolutley beautiful!
10:31am, 60 degrees. RAIN.
Day 7 of this crap. Many of the SD County rail lines are under water. Brett had to cancel all rail service in San Diego. Amtrak, The Coaster and The Sprinter. 10,000 people commute daily on the rail lines in SD County. 3am and Brett and staff had to start to schedule bus service for 5am at every train depot in the county.
I have never seen such intense fierce rain, whipping winds and thick fog as these past 7 days.
All we are hearing constantly is fire and police. Not to mention the noise of the rain crashing down. This is just awful.![]()

Here is one pic Brett emailed me from work yesterday afternoon. The water is never ever that high. This is Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner.
