What time is early park entry historically in July?

Trying to decide offsite vs onsite hotel or a combination for our July 6th-10th trip. I know they sometimes extend park hours in the busier seasons. Should I expect early park entry to be at 7am or 8am for our dates?

It might depend on the time of year and the park hours, but when i went in 2017, it was 7am but we were allowed through security at 6:15 and into the park all the way into diagon alley.

Last July, early entry officially started at 8, turnstiles opened at 7:45.
