what time is dinner?

Hi all~
I hope someone can help me with this question. I am planning an early dinner at the Sci-Fi Dine in at DHS (late August). My question is... how early can I go and still get the Dinner menu? If I plan to eat at 4:30pm is this considered lunch or dinner? Does anyone know how early I can make a dinner reservation with a dinner menu?

Dinner start times vary by restaurant. Your best bet is to call Disney Dining and ask them.
