What time is check in?

Hi, we are staying in Davy Crockett ranch and have been trying to find out what time we can check in to our room? I can't seem to find an answer on the disney site!

If we want to go to the parks first I'm assuming we need to check in to get our park passes and then go back to the park?

Yes you will get your park tickets on check in - but you can do this before 3pm and then you just go back for your room key after 3pm x

you can check in as early in the morning as you like to get your park tickets (ie in time for EMH on your first morning if you want to). Official room check-in time is 3pm so your cabin may not be ready before then, but we just come back in the evening after our first full park day and collect our key from reception.

That's correct, and to be honest it's best to avoid 3pm all together as it gets really busy peak season with queues forming outside of the front door!

Brilliant, thanks everyone. I think we might head to val d'europe first do a bit of food shopping then check in and use the pool etc and be up ready to hit the parks the next day rather than rushing about on the day we arrive!

That's a plan!

We usually visit Val d'Europe to stock up, upack, have a quick bite to eat, and then go to the parks for a few hours in the evening.

Good excuse to have a little lie in then the next day and catch up on some sleep, before hitting the pool for a few hours. The pool is typically really quiet during the day (you often have it to yourself), and very busy in the evenings.

If your budget stretches to a buffet at the DCR tavern I'd recommend that as well, as it's generally very good!
