What time hotel pick up for LAX?

I'm staying at VGC & arranging transport to LAX. I've read it can take up to 2 hours at some times! My flight is domestic @ 9.45am on a Friday morning ( Columbus day weekend). My pick up time is quoted as 6.30am. Is this enough time? or would 6am be better, my 1st visit to LA so no idea how bad it really is!

Is this shared transportation? Or will you be the only ones?

Do you have TSA Pre?

I might go for about earlier. I've had bad traffic and I've had perfectly fine traffic. LAX is fairly boring to hang out in IMO, but it's also the airport we discovered that we found we rather be very early and bored rather than running through the airport with shoes untied and pants falling off (because you couldn't put your belt back on) from cutting it too close.

Not shared, just us two, & no pre TSA. I'd rather be early & bored than stressed in traffic!!
