What time for PS at AK RFC?

The AK parade is at 4:00 when we are going. The park closes at 5:00. I had PS for 5:00, but I don't know how long the parade is, or where on the parade route we will end up sitting. I am also nervous about the lines to get out of the park after the parade. I changed my PS from 5:00 to 5:15. What is the best time for my PS ressies? We will have DD1 with us. What time does the bus service normally run till? We will have a rental car, but would prefer to take the bus. Thanks!

You may already have plans, but have you thought of eating at the RFC in DD? I just think this one is more personal, and you can go shopping afterwards! Just an idea...

They can only be used at the AK RFC. The Disney Dining rep said the AK RFC is actually in the AK Lodge...is that true?

The AK RFC is at the entrance to the AK park! It's pretty sad when the phone reps don't even know what's going on...

We had a PS around 5:30 last Oct, and plan to do so again this Oct. That gave us enough time to walk around leisurely instead of storming out of the park. Even with a PS you may have to wait a while if you go right after the park closes. Things really pick up then. I believe we waited about 20 minutes or so. But not this time! We joined the Safari Club, and from what I hear a reservation thru RFC is more "firm" than getting a PS.

The buses will not be a problem. We caught one around 7:30 last year, IIRC.

IF you have a RAIN FORREST SAFARI CARD -
you do NOT need a PS.

Just walk right up to the turtle podium
(DTD or AK park) and show your card.
You will be seated in 15 mins or less.

Some may get mad at you - but hey, you took the time
to get a Rain Forrest Cafe card.
