What time for 'Ohana dinner

Just about time to make ADR and I was wondering if I can get a choice at 'Ohana is there a time that is better? Fireworks are at 8pm and I wondered if you can see them from there - should I try to be eating at that time?

We did the earlier show (we have two little ones) and when we got out, it was just in time to catch the MK fireworks that evening.

Music pumping out of the speakers and everything! It was great!

One note, it can be breezy on the shore of the lagoon.

If you have a table by the windows you can indeed watch Wishes from inside 'Ohana.
It may however be difficult to "time" your reservation for viewing. 'Ohana is crazy popular and it is likely you will be waiting past your reservation time. We had an ADR for 6:00 pm and weren't seated until after 7.

There's no guarantee that you'll be seated at a table with a view of Wishes. Seeing Wishes on the Poly beach is a lot of fun so I would plan dinner early enough to be finished before the fireworks.

'Ohana meals take about an hour, but as the evening progresses the restaurant tends to run behind schedule. It is better to allow extra time and if you're done early you can walk around and explore the resort. On most days 6:00 will probably be okay, but if you're going at a busy time you might want to think about a little earlier.

Thanks for the tips. I think I will try for the earlier 6pm reservation and maybe do the beach at 8 for fireworks if we are done by then!

ADR's at 'Ohana is very hard to get. I finally got one at 9:35 and just recently got one for 8:15 I am still trying for earlier

Today was my 180 day and I was able to get 'Ohana for 5:35pm. I am happy with that since I think we will be done in time to watch the fireworks on the beach. Thanks for all the advice!
