I wanted a later dinner (had 4:25) but the CM talked me out of it saying that I couldn't make it to the show if I had a 6:15 ressie. She said the line up for Fantasmic would be an hour to an hour and a half. We went last year and I know we didn't stand in line that long (we weren't in the front row but we only waited like 20 minutes). Do you think we could make it?

If you're not doing the Fantasmic package then yes, you will be standing in line to get into stadium and should probably do as CM recommended.
If you are doing the package then you can pretty much walk right in.

I don't think the Fantasmic package allows for ressies after 5:30. With the package, you will get a ticket for entrance in a different area than the general entrance. We do the package all the time and usually show up about 25 minutes before show time (we don't mind sitting on the far right--easier to leave at end of show).

We will be going in Sept. When we waited only 20 minutes it was in Feb. It at the 50's diner so not a Fantasmic package. It is a late EMH so I didn't really want to eat that early. Hmmmm - not sure what to do...

Are there 2 fantasmic shows that night..........or does the show start at 7:00.
You are really pushing it if the show is at 7. If the show is at 8:00 you should be ok and then just walk on in for Fantasmic......they seat right up to the last minute.

We go in May and don't do the FDP anymore. We realized we didn't need it. About 30 minutes we walk into the theatre and grab a seat. It's actually a better seat than where the FDP reserves for you. We've never had a problem.

Thanks everyone. I think I will call back for the 6:15 ressie (if it is still available). There is only one 8:00 show but I think we can be done and walk on over to grab whatever seat we can get. If the line was really an hour or more I don't think we could wait anyway with my squirmy 2 yr old. Thanks!

You really need an ADR at least 2 hours before the show so if the show is at 8:00p then the latest ADR you should take is 6:00p, but I'd probably make it at 5:30p if I could.

You need time to be seated, order, eat and pay your bill. Then you need time to walk there and find a seat.

I've seen Fantasmic the end of August, the end of Sept and the end of Oct without the package and entered the stadium at about 1 hour or 45 minutes before and had no problem finding a good seat. There was NO line to be found.

The only time there might be a line is during peak season when people line up before the stadium's been opened (like 1 and half hours before) to be sure they get a seat or maybe for the second showing since they don't open up the stadium till about 30 minutes before (to clean it out). There is no line in the off season at one hour before. You wait in your seat.
