What time for dinner @ 'Ohana for fireworks?

I posted this on the Theme Parks Board inadvertently so I hope I will get a better response here.

We are going in August and would like to make a PS at 'Ohana for dinner and also be able to watch the fireworks. Is it possible to see them from the restaurant? If not, I am assuming we can go down to the Poly beach and watch from there. What time should we make our PS? Any suggestions?

I think it depends on what time the fireworks are. In May I made reservations at 'Ohana for 8:30pm and the fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:30pm I believe. Hopefully it will be near the end of our meal. Don't know what the hours are in August so you should check that.

Do you have any idea where I could check? When I called Disney, they didn't know yet and I can't find a history on these boards for fireworks.

So do you plan on watching from the restaurant or from the beach?

I thought mousesavers.com or wdwig.com had a historical time table for the park hours...try those sites out.

I hope to be able to watch from the restaurant by asking for a window table. I've never been so don't really know what to expect...only what I've read here.

When we went in March, the fireworks were scheduled for 7:00 (I checked the official WDW site- they list parade and firework times a couple of months in advance. I may have also checked wdwig.com as well). I made our PS for 6:40. We checked in at 6:20 and asked for a window table. Our wish was granted and we seriously had one of the best tables- it was in the far left corner, pretty much directly across from the castle. It was beyond awesome. At 7:00 the lights dimmed, they piped in the music and we watched the show. It was the best meal of the trip and one of the top 3 highlights of our 10 day trip. Purely magical..
