What time for car service from WDW to Port Canaveral

I'm looking to book a private car for travel to the port. We have a port arrival time of 10:30AM so would like to arrive at the port between 10:30AM and 10:45AM. What time should we ask to be picked up at Jambo House?

One vendor we are looking at said they don't pick up for DCL before 10AM, which struck me as strange. Is that reasonable? Or should I book with someone else?

Thanks!

We booked a car service too and were told that DCL will not allow car services in to the port area until after 11am hence the no pickups at WDW prior to 10am. Depending on your scheduled check in time it might not matter. I'm actually fine with letting the early birds crush in and then us. I'd rather it not be overwhelming for our first experience.

We had a pickup at 11 at our hotel on WDW property. By the time we got loaded up and into the car it was 11:15. When we arrived at the port it was wonderful... no lines. Just walked right on. Enjoy your cruise!!

we have taken car service several times and have asked why we need the later pick up. we were told by two different drivers that the cars have to first pick up from the boats (just as dcl does) and drop those people off before they can pick people up to take them to the port. I believe that is the real reason and has nothing to do with not being allowed in till 11. they could have told us a fib but it sounds more feasible.
i'm certainly not saying that my response is correct. it could well be wrong.

We also did an 11am pickup for our last cruise. We were at the contemporary. We stopped for wine on the way and arrived at 12:30. The place was nearly empty. We checked right in and walked right on. No hassle at all.

Our pickup for 10:30 PAT is at 8:30 from POR, I aksed them if that was too early and they said, it should be perfect (includes a stop at the store)

Our last cruise we had a 10:45 PAT and HappyLimo picked us up at 9:15 from AofA. Love, love live HappyLimo, they've been great for us.

Thanks all.
I agree that it seems like a scheduling convenience for the vendor. I'd rather a vendor that works for our convenience. I will switch vendors to have an earlier pickup. We don't mind waiting in the terminal to get on the ship. It's part of the fun for us. Hopefully we can meet Mickey in the terminal.

I have used Happy Limo many times from WDW and usually have them pick us up at 9 am. Never been an issue. We have a similar reservation with them for our 1/30/16 cruise

This actually seems far more logical to me!
