So when thinking of when to book your dinners if you know the restraunt is closing at say 8pm. Can you book for say 7:30 8:00 and sitll get into eat? If you do get in then are you feeling rushed to get out so they can close or doe they expect that you'll be a little while.

When you call to make your ADR's they have a pre-selected group of seating times. say 7:15 or 8:pm. You will be allowed to finish your meal, we stayed very late at Le Cellier and they were nothing but nice; having said that, we would certainly leave if it appeared we were overstaying our welcome.

Have a great trip!

When you call, you can ask for the last seating time and if its available and you take it, you'll be able to sit at that time. Some locations may rush you if the restaurant is pretty empty so that they can clean up and get out, but if its early like 8pm, the restaurant will probably still be full and they won't rush you at all. Most restaurants on WDW property stay open until 10pm with a few exceptions. If a place closed at 10, I would make my ADR for 9:30 just incase they tried to rush me out.

when we ate at coral reef last fall, epcot closed at 9pm and our adr was for 8pm and we had a wait, so we were nowhere near done when the park closed... we finished around 10pm... we were not rushed out at all, there were still plenty of buses running, and walking out of the empty park at that hour was truly magical!
